Vipcxj Hair Eye Extend system questions

So I have everything I need and I can get 2 of the hairs I want to show up ingame however, the other hairs dont even register I just get to swap between the 2 that work.

I have 6 hairs set up in the Vipcxj/hairs directory listed at

01

02

03

04

05

05

 

and only 04 and 05 work the others just dont show up.

 

my 01 files paths look like this

 

Data/meshes/characters/vipcxj/hair/01/HairSims2(006).egm

Data/meshes/characters/vipcxj/hair/01/HairSims2(006).nif

with this sets textures paths being

Data/textures/characters/vipcxj/hair/01/renhair01.dds

Data/textures/characters/vipcxj/hair/01/renhair01_hh.dds

Data/textures/characters/vipcxj/hair/01/renhair01_hl.dds

Data/textures/characters/vipcxj/hair/01/renhair01_n.dds

now this hair doesnt even appear on the menu or allow me to use shortcuts to change to it however, my 04 and 05 files work

 

my 04 folder is like this

Data/meshes/characters/vipcxj/hair/04/SKS new 07.egm

Data/meshes/characters/vipcxj/hair/04/SKS REN's 07.nif

with textures

Data/textures/characters/vipcxj/hair/04/SKS REN's 07.dds

Data/textures/characters/vipcxj/hair/04/SKS REN's 07_hh.dds

Data/textures/characters/vipcxj/hair/04/SKS REN's 07_hl.dds

Data/textures/characters/vipcxj/hair/04/SKS REN's 07_n.dds

 

so im totally lost as to why one hair will work and another doesnt when the file paths look perfect to me. Anyone got any idea what im doing wrong? What am I missing?

THe dds must have the same name as the nif so

Data/meshes/characters/vipcxj/hair/01/HairSims2(006).egm =>

data/textures/characters/vipcxj/hair/01/HairSims2(006).dds

And I would preferably avoid any signs like ()+- in the name.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I just wanted to verify something.

 

Does vipcxj's Hair Eye Extend System let me switch to ANY hairstyle on ANY player-made race (custom or vanilla) on the fly? Assuming, of course, I have the meshes and textures all in the right folders?
