Giant Animation Not Working

problem with activating giant animation, EVERY OTHER animation works just fine. but when I use matchmaker to start the scene,the giant just stands there while my PC floatings in midair getting boned by nothing. I'm using FNIS 1.52 (1.502?, latest version anyways), started clean save,  using vanilla giants + creature feature and I'm still not getting it to work. I looked inside the giant folder (mesh->actors->giant) looks like all the animation files are there and the .hkx files seem OK

TL;DR: every other animation works except for giant, tried everything by the book (fnis, clean save, etc) still dont work

having this problem as well

 

 

edit: FOUND A solution, sounds weird but you should download the last version of fnis (5.0.1) replace your current version, run fnis 5.01 then re replace fnis with the current version you used to have, run it again, and presto, that's how I got it to work.

Bumping this thread as I have a similar problem. I guess I have the animation installed properly and that is just something with refering to in via sexlab.

So I've got Defeat and DA installed and when I try to force giants to have some action, they just gather around, wait for years and then fall like ragdolls. After this everything repeats and after endless repeats of knocking me down in DA state - having some life inside - switching to Defeat - waiting for some time, they send me in space.

Found a fix for this, uncheck giant from the Nude Creatures mcm and edit the files in data/meshes/actor/giant/character assets/.

There should be just a file there named giant_naked.nif, copy it a few times and rename them to giant.nif, giant01.nif, and giant02.nif.

Maybe also giant01_naked.nif etc
