Spyder Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Yesterday, I installed Skyrim again after my HDD failed some months ago. Thus, I've lost all my mods, textures etc. Right now I'm trying to get back on track with my setup, but I'm kind of stuck. Before, I was able to create this: But now, my characters look all edgy/blocky. The shadows are horrible and I don't even get near the quality I had before. I'm currently not using an ENB, but I don't think it'd matter that much as I could make characters like this even without the ENB before. What I currently have: CBBE v3.2 BBP body Mature skin and face textures @ 4k res ECE (don't know if I had this before or RaceMenu, but this should result in better face geometry, right?) Apachii hair mod + 2 others Several eye mods The problems I run into: Faces look edges/jaggy Nose, eyes, mouth seem rough Missing several settings in racemenu(?) Advice/tips are more than welcome! So are suggestions for must have mods. Thanks in advance
nutluck Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 You really shouldn't be getting blocky faces with those mods. I use racemenu and UNP, mine look like your first picture in quality. Sure it was installed correctly? I only ask cause it really shouldn't look blocky with those mods.
Rayblue Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Both the current version of ECE and Racemenu don't work anymore in combination, however Racemenu has its own extended sliders based on ECE but there's no vertex editing implemented yet.
Spyder Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 Okay, so I did a clean install. Added ECE, mature texture pack, cbbe, etc... But this is the best I get. Don't know where things go wrong.
nutluck Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Ok yeah there is something wrong, not really sure what. But that cheek is seriously messed up.
