deathman Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Hi! I'd like to replace some soundfiles from Xenius Race Compilation. But i have a little problem. I wanted to replace the soundfiles from the moon elf folder (because nightelfs use the same voice files). So i named the new files like the ones from the moon elf folder and replaced them. I ended up with no voices so i use the original files again. I guess there must be something like an tutorial on lab but i couldn find it.
gregathit Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 You need to make sure that they are exactly the correct format. I think if I remember correctly they need to be "mono, 64kbps, 44.1khz" Try that and see if it works.
deathman Posted January 18, 2012 Author Posted January 18, 2012 Thank you very much! Now i just need a good programm for that. Any idea? I tried some tools but couldn't change the khz size.
gregathit Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I am assuming you want a free one, yes? Well, not really sure which would work best but you could try: http://www.koyotesoft.com/audio-software/free-mp3-wma-converter.html Note: I have installed and used it so don't fret about viruses or such. It IS bundled with a search bar and crap so DO NOT choose typical installation but rather select CUSTOM installation, then deselect the search bar and crap and you will just get the program itself. Then set your settings to mono, 64bit 44100 hz and convert away. Hope that helps
deathman Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 I used the tool from your link an everything worked without any problems. Thank you very much!
