I don't want to apply it as an esp, I just want to extract the files and manually overwrite stuff, that way I don't depend on obmm.

Load it into OBMM, then right click it and select "extract to folder".

The one hand walk by Umpa (was kinda stiff legged) or the one by Mur_Zik? If Umpa it is still up over at the nexus. If Mur_Zik that is harder to find and you may end up having to rip it out of the sensual walks mod (I think it is in there).
