At first look,

You had not run "Cello XAX Controller.exe".

After "fancy a firend", you need to run "Cello XAX Controller.exe".

Here is the thing:

1) I don't want a threesome, I only want sex with one lover, which shouldn't require XAX, technically.

2) I had it running just in case, I dunno why it looks like I did not. (Even on administrator rights.) With or without it, I get this error.

 

Total number of files in in meshes/cello directory should be 164.

But you have only 137.

 

Run "Cello XAX Controller.exe".

And select your Xgilr/Boy friend.

Then the number of file should be 164.

It looked for me as if the player character was missing and as I said, I don't want an XFriend. Do I need to "ask" one anyway just for the code to work?

 

 

@irzal: This is just a guess, but maybe you activated more than one L&L .esp? Only .esp made by Brian should be selected. Sorry if you know this already, just trying to help.

Nope, I haven't. Checked that several times just in case and followed all instructioncs in the readmes to a T.

Version 3.32 released

- If you do not select and never play with XGirl/Xboy, there will mesh load error message.

This version will prevent those message for whom do not play with XGirl/Xboy.

About testing :

I have removed my MWSE, meshes/Cello, texture/Cello directory.

And copied your files.

 

So, my test  Cello condition is exactly same as yours.

 

I have called current lover, there was mesh error message (since you did not select XGirl/Xboy),

I have pressed "Yes to ALL", and then lovers came and everything was OK!

 

So, there was no problem with Cello mesh and or texture.

Finally, I think, there will some be problem with youe MWSE...

L&L runs with internal MWSE of MGEXE or MGE.

 

So,

- remove your MWSE installation,

- Check internal MWSE is enabled within MGE/MGEXE

- Just run Morrwind.exe (MUST RUN THIS ONE), NOT "MWSE Launcher.exe" (NOT THIS ONE)

 

I guesss It should run,,,

If it does not run, I have NO idea....

I returned to my old Morrowind installation which I backupped and removed the MWSE folder like you said and it works. It didn't work however with my new "clean" installation. I begin to suspect that I used the wrong patch for this one (European instead of North American). Anyway it works now, I think. At least it did once.

 

Maybe you could write in the Readme that people must use the internal MWSE or something? ^^

 

When I press Enter the Animations switch, right? But sometimes the Menu where you can choose them from appears as well. What are the conditions for the Menu appearing? The game froze after I looked the position up in the book und selected it.

No, it works with External MWSE also.

 

But when you use external MWSE, I think you need to disable internal MWSE of MGE/MGEXE.

 

Maybe internal MWSE is enabled and run External MWSE,,,

 

Then there can be a problem....

 

So, be sure to disable internal MWSE of MGE/MGEXE, when you use external MWSE...

It worked again and again. Only with the Romance Mod Integration it doesn't. That crashes the game, but that's fine since it doesn't break the Romance either, so I can just use both parallelly. :3
