ryujak Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Hello everyone I've been playing skyrim for a wile now and recently decided to do a fresh re-install and cut down on my mods to make it more gameplay enhanced and friendly at the same time as well as a few visual effects added.  any mods that seem incompatible please let me know so I can remove/make a choice. I figured I'd make a post about it because I've been a big fan of this site and got many helpful tips from here.  Mods I currently have are below, I'd also like to add that I have not installed any mod yet since my fresh re-install of skyrim and all the dlc's  Realistic Water two  Weather control center  Climates Of Tamriel - Weather - Lighting - Audio  Enhanced Lights and FX  Better Circlets HQ V1o1  True Circlet Gems  immersive patrols  unofficial skyrim  unofficial dawnguard  unofficial hearthfire  unofficial dragonborn  skyui  Imaginator  Imaginator MCMenu  Transparent and Refracting Icicle and Frost Atronach  Ultimate HD Fire Effects  CBBE  CBBE Armor replacer  Empowered Magic  better vampires  enhanced character edit  The Revenge of Colette - Powers and Spells for Discerning Adventurers  Johnskyrims HD Armored Circlets  Ibans Staff  Ancient Staff  New Animation for Magic Casting  XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended  New Animation for Running with Bow  dual seath redux  FNIS  Skyrim Immersive Creatures  Immersive Weapons  Immersive Animations  SM Essential Player  lockpick pro  ApachiiSkyHair  Alternate Start - Live Another Life ( if anyone can recommend a different mod like this please do)
gvman3670 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 The ones that have "immersive" in them will be the only trouble makers in that list. Not necessarily bad or necessarily incompatible with anything. But they do fire quite a few scripts (and the more ugrids you load the more scripts that will fire). So no that you can't remove them mid-game if you use them. Â Other than that I don't see how you'd get any compatibility or script issues from the rest of them. Â What else do you plan on adding?

gvman3670 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Falskaar and Wyrmstooth are good stuff. Wyrmstooth is the better of the two to be entirely honest. I never had any issues with Wyrmstooth at all (or with Falskaar), but I don't really use many mods that alter the game's mechanics through scripting. Lighting, textures, armors, weapons and character models don't really effect stability at all. I just keep script firing to a minimum since Skyrim has thousands as it is.
Guest Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 My (uneducated) opinion is that you save in a populated area, during a battle, during some type of weather (rain, blizzard, etc). Use the newest save cleaner and choose "List active." If all your saves only have a few (less than 5 is ideal, 5 to 10 is acceptable) active scripts, you should be fine. If there are too many onUpdate/active scripts, based on the script names, you can find which mods are taxing your system and deactivate it. BTW, the first simple step I would do is get rid of IMAGINATOR. That mod is bad for your save.
Kestrix Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I would suggest Gemling Queen Jewelry with that Circlet Replacer. The stones s/he made for that are gorgeous.
