lolicatgirls9 Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 So I've been helping out a friend of mine with some mods, and one of the things he's having trouble with is the Tail Rings item from the Apachii Goddess Store. Â This is what his character's tail normally looks like: Â Â ...And this is what it looks like after equipping the Tail Rings: Â Â Â The character he is using is Kunne race. Â To make sure it didn't have anything to do with the Tail Rings mesh being brightened or something like that, I sent him the mesh I was using, as well as the texture for the tail to make sure it wasn't that either. No changes, of course. Â By default, the Tail Rings use the Khajiit tail texture for the tail, unless the character already has a tail, in which case it uses the texture for the tail of the character's race. Â Anyone know why this is happening?
gregathit Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Loli, Â Make sure that he has the same mods that you do and in the same order. All it will take is him pointing at a wrong mesh or texture due to his LO or bashed patch and things are screwed up

gregathit Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Loli, I would stick the last red stack under the 2nd red stack (that ends with Notused_Leather.esp). Â Also, you are going to need to get him to make a bashed patch for the races or you may have problems with the MBP and lop-ear elf stuff. Â Also I would drop the lovers mods down underneath the pose mods just to make sure they don't mess things up. Keep an eye on those pose mods as they can cause trouble at times.
EvenstarGW Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 I've messed around with those tail rings in the past, and one issue I encountered is that some tails have a different UV layout from others. On one of my tabaxi races, the tail rings looked totally wrong while the others were ok. Maybe this issue is similar.
lolicatgirls9 Posted January 30, 2012 Author Posted January 30, 2012 Okay, so whenever he loads up Wrye Bash, he gets a message that says "Load List Sanatized" and it automatically deactivates BowofShadows#2.esp. This is that mod: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=7262 Why is it doing this?
