Sunja44 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I am a bit confused about the location where you actually should install Wrye Bash to. I read a couple of guides and often they are talking about a "game" folder (sometimes written in brackets [games]) and I am not sure if those guides mean the "Skyrim" or "Oblivion" folder in your steam installation path or they mean the "games" folder you find usually on C: in your windows installation path (where you actually install NMM into too).Â
ToJKa Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Install it in the game's main folder. For skyrim you install it in .../steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/ folder, where the executables are. WB's files will then be installed into Skyrim/mopy/ folder.
Sunja44 Posted March 29, 2014 Author Posted March 29, 2014 Thx, I already thought that, but Wrye Bash tells me "I should install Skyrim and therefore Wrye Bash too, into another folder as the Steam or C:Programm Folders at all" because you might geht windows registry issues. I guess that's pretty old info and maybe concerned WinXP.
