Archers/Arrows 1 Hit Kills

hello, can someone enlighten me to how reduce damage from archers/bows/arrows? i'm not so sure if it is from mods, all i know they are 1 shotting me to death

Do the archers who kill you use custrom equipment? And is SkyRe an overhaul that inceases the difficult?

ive had the same problem with the overhoul mod Skyrim unleashed, so my guess is skyRe, try to deactivate it and test the damage of the npc bows. u could also lower the difficult in the game menu, just a suggestion.

@Thulas archers who killed me just used crossbow, normal bows, etc, but when i use it straight from their dead bodies the damage is so miniscule

 

@koffeien i guess i try it later, though SkyRe does a pretty good job beside that insane arrow damage, difficulty does affect the damage but kind of small

Did you look at your own specs?  What level is your health at?

level 41~ and 500 health, its too much dmg right? well it doesn't one shot me when i use Heavy Armors (around 350~400 armor rating)/ 2 shot to be precise, but when i try changing to light armor (250~300 armor rating), my HP falls off fast, both perks isn't maxed yet, only took 3 or 4 upgrade on the first perk (the one that increase armor by %)

I think this is Skyre problem..... Im using requiem, so archers in my game bloody bastards. But i can change damage from enemy weapons and mine.....

could be a combo of Skyre + ASIS, and maybe others as well. gotta remember that with ASIS, if you installed everything for it, all your enemy archers are fully perked into what ever weapon they use. even having the Trick shot perk that isnt normally available. (it can disarm your target)

oh ya might be an ASIS too, can't check enemy perks in-game, but then again the only way to solve it to remove them then?

just try turning them off, load a save and give it ago, if it still happens, you can just reload with the mods back on and try something else.

Well, you still could go into the CK and lower the additional damage from every arrow/bolt, this probably would help to a certain point.

when installing ASIS, and running it's jar file, you should be able to un-check anything you dont want installed, and i belive one option is for perks on enemies, tho it has been sometime since i used it.

 

@Thulas, ASIS adds a bunch of enemy related things like, they have perks, use potions, increased spawns and use mod added magic spells. great mod IMO.

this is actually realistic damage, skyre is doing that on purpose, also you are playing it on high difficulties, before i got skyre i could easily beat legendary with a death resulting from a moshpit or sneak kill fail now and then

 

after i got skyre i can barely play the game in legendary with out getting killed by a random animal, im pretty sure i play in adept and expert now.

 

also if you are using light armor, and ur not a thief/mage your doing it wrong. if your a thief you are suppose to sneak, if ur a mage take them out from a range

 

if ur a warrior the bows shouldnt one hit you all the time unless it a head shot.

 

edit: also the game is scaled to be hight levels in certain places, you are going into places underleveled that is why.

well maybe i modded the game wrong too, can't sneak and 1-shot kill through 15  bandit in a cave either lol

 

i'm gonna try to report later on my finding about skyre/asis/realistic damage, can't test those yet now
