Barbas Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 First of all I would like to say hello, I am new to the forums. Now to my request, it seems that there aren't a lot of tutorials for Nifskope and skeleton.nif editing, there's a bunch on animations and exporting on blender or maya and armors but I haven't found the information I am looking for. There is this really cool Mod on the nexus called Better Body Scale for Khajiit and Argonian, nevertheless it is not currently being supported it seems, it's a simple skeleton, bulkier and taller than the vanilla one, made for beast races. The thing is that while very good, it has some shortcomings like the hands, the legs and feet being too small in comparison to the arms, which makes the Beast races look kinda like a Night Elf from WoW but with tiny legs, so I decided to learn how to use Nifskope and try to make my own version of a bigger and bulkier skeleton for beast races. After some fiddling in order to learn how to make the feet stay above the ground I succeded, I may even say it looks really cool, even more with daedric armor. The thing is I have another mod which aligns the first person camera height with the scale of the character, but because my character is now taller than everyone else while staying at scale 1.0 and the first person camera doesn't move unless I make my character look like godzilla, now I kind of broke my own immersion. I guess I could make my custom skeleton smaller and set a a bigger scale for my character ingame but I would like other Argonians and Khajiit to hace the same scale as me. I am convinced that the mod that changes first person camera height fiddles with some value on the skeleton in order to work in the same way that ECE changes the scale of the skeleton nodes in-game. So if any of you guys know which value in the skeleton manages the First Person Camera Height or if it is a separate thing and if I can change it I would be very grateful.
Groovtama Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 First person height seems to be hardcorded value mulitplied with root scale in a default first person skeleton. (On The joy of perspective first person skeletons it's different)
