Ryanhabs Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I found this mod that when used makes a pretty sexy looking high elf. http://www.mediafire.com/?mqk3v148mbvdehh Heavy version http://www.mediafire.com/?tblur5r7d6s30k7
Benanator Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 The wait for TERA is hard enough without all these reminders that I can't play it yet But this replacer looks wonderful lol.
cucatrap Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Looking very good! ,excellent! i try it ,thank you! for share.
Ryanhabs Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 Just a side note to anyone wanting to use this, The standard drag and drop of files in to the data folder works but I had one hell of a time finding out what the object id's were. I recommend using wrye to install this.
thelordymir Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Does this just replace high elf character or any character you make?
Ryanhabs Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 It is an outfit that works as a head to toe body replacer, it doesn't replace any existing armors. Basically you use the console to add the items to inventory and when you put them on you will look like the screen shots.
sisgood Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 lol I didn't know where to post this, so I figured here wouldn't hurt. We kinda need an I found it topic lol. http://dl.dbank.com/c0jyapeqfh Have fun!
Kyocera Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Damn that's hot, thanks for sharing it. It's pretty scary to think what's gonna be done when the CK is out.
sisgood Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Damn that's hot' date=' thanks for sharing it. It's pretty scary to think what's gonna be done when the CK is out. [/quote'] Well, a lot of the things we are seeing now are port-overs from Oblivion but yeah... I hope my computer doesn't blow up! lol I'm getting two more gigs for my bday in a month and a half but still!
gcleveland Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Thanks a ton for posting all the Tera stuff everyone. I cant wait to play the US version as the combat is amazing and this will tide me over =)
Ryanhabs Posted January 8, 2012 Author Posted January 8, 2012 install via a mod manager or with wyre and the object id first 2 digits will be the position of the mod in your load list followed by 000991 through 000994 or if you just drag and drop the files in your data folder (not recommended) use the console and type help "highelfboots" 4 then if needed use the page up key to find an entry that is labeled [ARMO] that will give you the first 2 digits also.
gcleveland Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Ryan, thanks for the wyre info. Do you use the Wrye Bash 295-2 - Installer alpha? Do you recommend it even in its alpha stages?
Ryanhabs Posted January 8, 2012 Author Posted January 8, 2012 Yeah, I'm even only using the standalone version. works great although I don't do much else atm other than using it for mod management.
mireka Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 does wyre bash interfere with nexus mod manager? i bet it does though
Ryanhabs Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 not sure, but I don't use NMM nor will I ever. Honestly I will go to a Chinese / Japanese site to get a mod I know is on the nexus because I don't want to support them anymore than I have to. I have watched great modders, one after another pack up and close up shop due to the complete fucktards that run the show overthere. Not to mention their "inner circle" of bone-smoking ass kissers that do nothing but look for ways to get others in trouble or banned. BTW: there is a V2 consisting of a heavy armor base. Pic and link in the first post. (I have not installed the V2 version yet as I'm working on something else atm. I do not know if it replaces the original or if anything other than what it looks like due to sample pic.)
mireka Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I know your feel bro. Cant blame them though, they want to keep it 'moral'.
Takamunchi Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=1954 can you import that to skyrim?
Ryanhabs Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 Can it be done... yes, can I do it at the moment... I'm learning so hopefully soon.
Quemon Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 It would be great to let it match vanilla heads ..
Nichoice Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Not sure if this has been said, but for some reason when I install the Heavy and Light elf armors, the textures and the mesh of the forsworn disappear. i.e. their feet are missing, no purple boots. Completely missing. I backtracked to the original blog and updated to no avail. Even tried using BSAUnpack to put the original mesh there and that didn't work either. Anyone else having this problem?
dscythegeo Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 yeah i also have the same problem and i also backtrack to http://mods247.blogspot.com/ but to solution. i tried to edit the esp but to no end as well..
gcleveland Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 I also had a look at the esp files but when I opened them with skyedit etc, said there was nothing in them.
dscythegeo Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 i used tesnip and i can see some values in there but changing the folder location to point to somewhere else is not working also.. hm.. i dunno what to edit in there...
