CrimsonOmegaLance Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Hey, Looking to increase my difficulty by adding enemy spawns without making them tougher (health+dmgwise, I welcome any AI improvements). I like the feeling of chopping through hundreds of bandits/skeletons instead of two extremely difficult ones. Currently, the 'safe' ones that I've been looking at are Immersive Patrols, ASIS, OBIS, and Sands of Time. I've tried Sands of Time, but there are a couple of bugs which makes friendly NPCs aggro me. Would ASIS for dungeons + IP/OBIS for exteriors all work together happily? Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Gortam Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 There was the Populated Series: some mods that add a lot of NPC/MObs in different situations, like: * Civil War (there were big fights of parties of Stormcloaks vs. parties of imperials) * Populated Forts * Populated Cities And so on.. But sadly those are not available anymore on Nexus and i didn´t find them anywehre else.

akroma3310 Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 For an established character, I find OBIS to be a lot of fun. I attempted to try to use the mod on a new character. Needless to say I had my teeth promptly forcibly removed by way of a mace.
magnusx Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I use asis, skyre, populated "all of them", erso too XD many people around XD
Gnowmickly Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 DFB - Random Encounters Go to the wild, set all to 100, 30 sec
Taskmaster Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I wouldn't exactly call ASIS "safe" Personal experience, it causes too many incompatibilities, and some of the most interesting features cause the game to crash(like the internal cell randomizer).
dTd Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I use the entire Populated Series, OBIS, Dragon Combat Overhaul, Extended Encounters, Enemy AI Overhaul - Revenge of the Enemies - no scripts version all together. Works great and is hella difficult but not impossible because it's very configurable.

Well, u have to exclude some mods on it and disable ai tweaking from ASIS, but out of it never had an inconsistance and have 1500 hours playing skyrim with asis most of the half of that time, i use it with skyre, many of the erso pluggins, revenge of the enemy, in total 197 mods including harvest overhaul, dual sheat redux, lootification, and lots more of it, just have to polish it in the borders and asis will increase all the fun XD
Mud Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 ASIS hasn't been updated in forever, so it's bound to have some problems. In fact, it's incompatible with the latest Unofficial Dragonborn Patch, and must have it in its exclusions list or your game crashes at startup.
magnusx Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Well, as i said, just have to tweak it, the mod itself hasn't been updated but people has made and post their stuff and to tell the truth didn't made so much, i just have crashes because the hdt systems sometimes, have the latest versions of all mods in my actual walktrought and among them all the uskp, but the one of high resolution, I'm just saying, it works for me, and it makes look the packs of wolves like a real pack XD
CrimsonOmegaLance Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 Yea I realized ASIS was causing a lot (*all*) of my crashes. I took it off and started using SkyrimMoreSpawns. I'll try Random Encounters as well. The more NPC's the better!
