UNP-BBP???

Can someone tell me how to get UNP-BBP to work???

 

I have tried many times over the last 3 days to get this to work.  I have followed instructions from 5-6 posts over different websites to the letter, using the exact same versions of files. I have completely reinstalled Skyrim and tried different installations many times.  They simply do not work. One of 4 things happens - either I get messed up meshes/textures with BBP, or I get nice meshes/textures with no BBP, or I get a CTD, or Skyrim simply does not start.

 

I can install CBBE with BBP in literally 10 minutes and it works perfectly.

 

Any help is appreciated.

Make sure you get XPMS or one of Skull Tyrants skeletons, and overide the skeleton for femalebody... Install with MO or NMM to be safe. Tell us if that works

I've used a couple different UNP bodies with (T)BBP and they worked. When I got a neck gap it was the result of other mods overwriting the head .tri files from ECE (and the fix was to change their priority order in MO so that the body overwrote the offending mod instead).

I have been loading mods manually.  I have been using Cherry's mod which I assume has a bbp compatible skeleton?  Nothing I have installed has overwritten that skeleton afaik.  Anyway, I opened NMM to install XPMS and I forgot that I had used NMM in a previous futile installation attempt, and it somehow deleted all my mods.  So I will have to install them again.

 

I just don't understand why this is so hard for me, when I can install CBBE bbp very quickly with no problems.  And fyi, I have manually installed mods in Oblivion and Skyrim, so I know how to install mods.

 

My last attempt at UNP bbp was using an older version of CBBE bodyslide with this mods UNP shape data and sliders http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13407 

 

And before you say "don't use that old mod" I have tried others from googling UNP bbp, this one was simply the last one that I tried.  It didn't work either.  Besides, it was a pain extracting all those different files and merging them.

 

If anyone can give me a list of mods to install and in what order (and what to overwrite or not overwrite) for UNP BBP I would appreciate it.

OK fresh install UNP BBP using NMM:

 

1.  install CHSBHC

2.  install UNP Main body - allow overwrites of textures

3.  install XPMS skeleton with options checked       XPMS default

                                                                                 no Joy of Perspective mod

                                                                                 no left hip bolt quiver

                                                                                 XPMS default 1H sword and dagger

                                                                                 skeleton rig map

                                                                                 overwrite all skeleton nif and hkx files

 

At this point I have nice meshes and textures but no BBP - but at this point in CBBE installation I used a bodyslide to select BBP body (with no XPMS installed) and it worked fine. 

 

so what next....

This is a much simpler alternative to get UNP with BBP... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33399/?

 

This way you don't have to go through a few different steps. Just a copy/paste and you're done.

 

I've used this TBBP version as well (can't find the original link anymore)...

Just install one of these bodies, install XPMS (and allow overwrites), then add a TBBP animation set (like Dragonfly or something similar).
