shyguy92 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Hey guys it is 2014 and this old SEGA Dreamcast game is still kicking it online for the PC check out http://schtserv.com/ Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst is completly free to play and its the same as the PSO ver.2 from the Sega DC, just with another level put in it called "creater impact site". All you have to do is Download the game, then register, then to run the game, Right click on you're PSO BB shortcut, then scroll down to "Properties" then click on "Compatibility" tab and chech the "Run this program as an administrator" box. ( for windows 7, IDK about the others.) And then yeah, logg on to you'r account and start playing.
LaEspada Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Ah, I used to play on that server. Those were the days. Gets incredibly boring if your not playing with friends though. So I can vouch for the server, it's completely safe and fairly stable and great to play with friends. It's actually comprised of PSO episodes 1, 2, and 4. Episode 3 was some stupid card battle game. I'm actually tempted to get back on or probably go to Japanese PSO 2. (which I wish they would release in the west already)
Lobzpooatu Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Ahhhh the countless hours on PSO. PSO2 I doubt we'll ever seen in the US, but there is an American server thankfully. Crappy thing is you having to buy stuff online with a Japanese visa just to be able to use the store completely. On topic though I'm glad to know BB is still playable. I had no idea it was and I will gladly jump back on for a few games.

To buy stuff I just used some company that they recommend in using to exchange US $ into credit by using Paypal. Oh and for PSO 2 there's an unofficial English Patch that does a pretty good job in translating a TON of stuff into English.

Now I haven't played it in three or for months so that might have changed, but I hated gettting a new magic unlocked and not knowing what the crap it did or what I was choosing in the menu. As far as the American server goes check out ship 2 block 20. There were tons of English speaking folks on there the last time I got on.
