arnulfpeter Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Hi guys, i played Skyrim around the time it came out and i enjoyed it very much despite some really annoying things like the menu and the inventroy system. Now, a friend of mine said he played Skyrim with mods and it was even more fun for him, so i got excited as well. ;-) I took a look around (and being a guy) also landed here. ;-) I think i would really get back into playing Skyrim with mods that give me more freedom in the game (actions you can actually perform ingame, not being restricted by NSFW regulations) and also make it look nicer. Being a total newbie in the field of mods, especially in Skyrim, i browsed this forum for serval hours and: MIND=BLOWN. xD I saw many pictures that looked so fantastic, i could not tell it was Skyrim or even a game at all. Especially how some of you optimized the female characters is totally insane... But i think the approach for me is to use some basic mods to make the game look better and some additional mods to make the females look really sexy and to be able to perform sexual actions (what can i say, i'm a guy). So i read some more and decided to install mod organizer and get going with SKSE and FNIS. I had problems getting FINIS to run with MO, and decided to install my stuff manually. So far i got (in order of installing manually): 1. SKSE 2. Unofficial Skyrim Patch 3. FNIS (Spells, Creature, Behaviour) 4. ApachiiHair 5. SkyUI (6. BOSS) 7. Wet and Cold and i also got Bag of Holding from my last playthrough. Then, i took a look around for female body replacements (i also want males, but did not yet look). CBBE, UNBP and all the different mods that belong to it. It is very confusing. Want i would like is: A sexy looking female body with bouncing breasts and butt. So i figured i need TBBP, a body model, and nice textures like http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36425/? and also sweaty looking textures like some of your amazing characters i saw here http://www.loverslab.com/topic/15224-show-your-skyrim-counterpart/. ;-) But i also saw that http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17802/? seems to be a must have. And if i want that for general graphics improvement something called ENB is needed. Because all these mods seem dependent on each other and the order of installation seems to be very important, i am afraid that i (the noob that i am) fuck up my total installation of skyrim and have to do everything from scratch. So my plea for advice would include these quesations: In what order do i need to install ENB, Climates of Tamriel, body replacement, TBBP and textures for body replacement to be a happy guy? ;-) What ENB and female enhancement mods would you recommend to someone who wants to invest a bit in modding but then wants to be able to play the game and enjoy it (no hardcore modding, i do not think i can be so good at it like you guys)? So for graphics recommendations my PC specs are needed i guess: Win7 Pro i5 processor 4x 2,67 GHz 8 GB RAM Geforce GTX 670 (2GB RAM) Many thanks in advance. From my time browsing through this forum i think this is one of the best and most friendly communities regarding pc games. I look forward to your answers ( cannot wait ot get the sexy game starting). ;-)
Carida Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Hai Welcome! Well I don't know much but I can only recommend what I am using I suppose. I don't use Climates myself I use an ENB http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43765/? So I can't recommend much as to COT. If you want bouncy.. and bouncy all the time, or rather, natural bounce with every movement I actually recommend HDT. There's a whole section right here on LL and it has all the info you could need on that one and so you can find a set that suits your taste. Some like more bounce, some like less, some want natural etc etc lol. The body you use and the textures for it aren't dependent on your ENB or anything to do with your graphics mods, well other then how it makes them look after all lol. So feel free to install whatever you like as in body mods, the textures I recommend are either this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35267/? or this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32986/? as I find them to be gorgeous, just make sure you get the right set to go with the base body mod you are using. If you are getting something within the UNP family as in 7base, UNP, UNPB, Dreamgirl etc then get the UNP base textures. If you are wanting to use CBBE .. and all within its family (sorry I don't use that one so I don't remember the rest that go with it) then you would get the CBBE base textures. There are also quite a few guides on here on how to build a really pretty girlie. They will help you to find nicer hair and little accessories for jewelry and all that fun stuff. Hmm that's about all I can think of at the moment, the rest is really up to personal taste of course Enjoy Skyrim! -C EDIT: Oh! I recommend SOS for the men.. is sexiness And Finer face textures for them as well!
gvman3670 Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Well you will also have to add a custom skeleton to your game. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26800/? Without the skeleton there will be no jiggle in the breasts and butt cheeks. I'd hold off on the ENB. And USE Mod Organizer. The real beauty of MO is that it means you won't have to reinstall a broken Skyrim. It keeps mods outside of the Skyrim folder so the game stays fresh and new. So basically anything that would be added to Skyrim's /data/ folder can be put into MO instead. SKSE is the only thing you listed that actually NEEDS to be manually installed. FNIS, for example, seems to not want to install. It will tell you "no data at top level" (or something like that). All you have to do is right click the top level in the list and choose "set as data directory" and it should give you the good to go message.
Hajtus Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Im currently using Kountervibe ENB with Climates of Tamriel and they are working great together! But you can use CLimates of Tamriel without ENBs that should work just fine. Body mods are all about what you prefer i am using Sevenbase with Realistic Girl Textures and loving it . But really just try them out and see what looks best to you . Carida already recommended the other great textures only ones i would still add are Womens of Skyrim. Notice that if you use the Real Girl textures you can't use the CBBE body mod. About other mods to make your female character "better" i use Eyes of Beauty and SG Hair (you have to google that) and of course Racemenu with CharGen extension. That is really all you need imo . Oh and ShowRaceMenu Precache Killer is must Links to the mods i was talking: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20483/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25588/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29624/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33526/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13722/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36925/?
OlBenny Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Hmm, are you asking for mod suggestions or installation priority? If it's the latter, usually mod authors will include such information as to which mod to install first relative to another mod. This is especially true if using a mod like Static Mesh Improvement. For body mods, personally I use UNPB TBBP. The difference between all of them, as I understand it: CBBE makes the girl look more robust, UNP makes the girl more petite, and UNPB is sort of a synthases between the two. However, personally speaking, I like my girl to also look a little more athletic, but still feminine. I also don't like the "plastic" look of the skin of UNP. So, to compliment UNPB TBBP, I also use Alt Navtesa UNP Seamless. So in an instance such as that, you would have to install UNPB TBBP first, and overwrite those textures installed by UNPB with the Alt Navtesa mod. The same holds true with any texture mod. But as others have already suggested, it really just depends on your own personal taste. Though one thing to keep in mind if you later decide to do it, the UNP body base type has the most armor mods. In using mods, load order is what becomes really important, in case you didn't already know. Esm files are master files, and must always be set to load first in your load order relative to .esp files. Here's a great tutorial video by Gopher that assists in that regard. Great tools to compliment load orders and dealing with load orders are mods such as BOSS and TES5Edit. BOSS will sort your load order, while TES5Edit, amongst other things such as cleaning mods and your Skyrim (video guides provided on the mod's page), will warn you if there is a conflict that exists within your load order (such as in one mod requiring to be loaded first relative to another mod). Though you install your mods manually, I would recommend that you reconsider in using a mod manager such as Nexus Mod Manager (link to video guide included) or Mod Organizer. They make installation and removal of mods all the more seamless. They will also warn you if you are about to overwrite something and ask if you really want to overwrite it. They're also very helpful when dealing with load orders, telling you what .esp file requires what .esm file and so forth, unlike using the default Skyrim-Steam version which tells you nothing, just listing your mods. For installing ENBs and CoT, I'm pretty certain which you install first doesn't really matter. ENBs deal primarily with editing Skyrim's .dll, whereas CoT doesn't even touch it. If you plan to use a lighting mod, however, such as Enhanced Lights and FX, those mods you'll want to install last, allowing them to overwrite whatever needs to be overwritten. Details as such is usually provided on the mod page. A lot of information, but if you have questions don't hesitate to ask. LL is a great community and there is always someone willing to help. Welcome to Skyrim modding, Arnulfpeter!
arnulfpeter Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 Thank you guys for the fast and detailed feedback. I think you are right and i will re-install mod organizer. i will look for a tutorial on FNIS installation and executable usage with MO. @OlBenny: Yes i am looking for both mod suggestions as well as installation order advice. I think i will have to check again whats out there. My problem so far was to disinguish which mod is just the body replacement, which mod adds jiggly tits/ass and which mod the textures. And there are also some that do all of these things at once. Then there is this skeleton replacement which seems to be a fourth thing i need. I think i will look around first for the body type i would choose and maybe come back with more questions. ;-)
gvman3670 Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Just look for a body type you like that has (T)BBP, whatever textures fit that body type that you like, (T)BBP animations and the XPMS skeleton. That's all you'll need. And remember that clothing also needs to be (T)BBP compatible if you want the jiggle animations while clothed. For example, I am using UNP TopModel (TBBP compatible), Univision Sweaty texture, a couple different TBBP animations for walking/running/etc., and XPMS skeleton. This gives a nice jiggle, even on a thin character.

I install FNIS_Behaviour, FNIS_Creature_PACK and FNIS_AddOn_for_Splells in this order. In MO they all appear as seperate mods with seperate entries and they are all located in different subfolders in the MO folder in windows explorer. I was not asked to replace anything. Now MO tells me (just as a flag in the mods list) that there is a conflict between Behaviour and Spells, that files are going to be replaced. I wonder, should they be all in the same directory from the start? Will it work now? xD Can anyone help me out with this?
gvman3670 Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 They are three seperate mods. You should be OK as it sits now, but you will have to add the Generate_FNIS_for_users.exe into MO as an executable binary. If you run the generator outside of MO it won't show your proper skeleton or installed animations.
arnulfpeter Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 Hi again. I think i got it to work for the most part. I also chose UNP Topmodel TBBP+SG Textures+XPMS and i also installed TBBP animation of dragonfly. I noticed no butt bounce sadly. is this due to the fact that on the UNP Topmodel TBBP page it says no butt bounce? Also i did not find any other TBBP animations except dragonflys. gvman3670, which TBBP animations are you using? Now i am looking for TBBP compatible armor. Can you guys recommend something like a pack? Thank you in advance.
gvman3670 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 There is little to no butt bounce on that body, but it's kinda' thin on the bottom. I use these TBBP walk and run animations.... There are more idles here on LL. I believe in the adult mods section of the forum you'll find a thread with a bunch of idles from red1313(?). Should be easy to find, though. I also use 3ukalipto archery animations... 3ukalipto elegant archers.rar ...and a crawl on all fours sneak idle animation (from Nexus). With Mod Organizer you can take a set of animations you like (even from different sets ), put them all in one folder, zip it up with 7zip then add it to the game with MO's "add from archive" option.
gvman3670 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 You'll find very, very little armor for the TopModel body. Sadly. But the good news is that UNP Slim and base UNP stuff fits and works. So if you find some UNP BBP or TBBP articles you can use those, but just remember that it might change boob size (depending on where you have your character's weight set).

Oh they look nice, i will try to get them to work. thank you very much! I have another problem. It seems my face textures reset (to ugly vanilla i think) after loading a save file. You guys know how to fix that?
gvman3670 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Not sure on the texture. Never had that happen before. But if I did I'd uninstall it, make a save, then reinstall it.
arnulfpeter Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 Installing racemenu helped luckily. As for the armor textures i had no luck so far. I installed http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34160/? because it supports BBP. Installation was successful but the armor i pick up ingame is vanilla and does not show bigger boobs or bouncy. Which one are you using?

That's the nice thing with clothing/armor mods....you can install then uninstall them without breaking your game. There isn't a TON of BBP stuff for base UNP, but there is some out there. I like the jiggles the most during sex acts and unclothed anyway. What can I say? I'm a man.

But i also want to play the game with the sexy girl. ;-) What i mean is, that i do not see any difference at all. Its not the sexy version of the armor, nothing changed. I just wonder if i have to do anything else in addition to extract the files. Also, its not the replacer file i downloaded but the standalone.bsa. because of the comment that male NPCS wear sexy armor with the replacer. :/ Should i use the other file?

The standalone adds skimpy to your list at the forge on top of the vanilla versions. The replacer changes the armors on females, but on males it still looks vanilla (meaning there's one thing in your forge list and if you craft leather it appears skimpy on women and normal on men). I've never seen the skimpy stuff show up on men, though.....fortunately.

Just tell me when its getting annoying for you.^^ About the jiggling during sex: I installed sexlab framework, aroused and working girl. I would need additional animations for the breats to jiggle during the sex scenes right? Because now they are static (as well on npc women that have the same body as my character).

You need HDT physics extension for jiggling. Should be a link to it on the forums somewhere. I realize people here tend to tell newbies to stay away from it because it's complicated or whatever. Really don't see that, it's just drag and drop into your C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\skse\plugins Also should probably use the stable version.
gvman3670 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 You will get boobies swaying/jiggling animations (even without HDT) but only in the sex animations that support it, some older ones don't. And it seems to me that you only get it when in the "female" position and during lesbian positions.

Then i need this.^^
gvman3670 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Yeah, HDT can make body parts, hair and clothing move. And have collision effects with other objects.
Sweatington Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Yeah, HDT can make body parts, hair and clothing move. And have collision effects with other objects. On second thought, it might be the collision effects people were reffering to being tricky to set up. I never bothered with that tbh.
