ttpt Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Make sure the skeleton_female.hkx file is in its proper place and run FNIS \Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets female\skeleton_female.hkx So I was updating mods today I cam across the skeleton_female.hkx and I vaguely recalled that it was recommended to be renamed or removed for HDT to work properly at some point. This is no longer the case as I've had it there for the longest time and it never caused me any CTDs. In any case I still decided to rename it just to be on the safe side. I ran FNIS after fiddling with a couple more updates for stuff and then I went back to my game, went into some necromancer crypt and all the draugr sex animation were broken. The necromancers worked fine but those are humans and they seem unaffected by the problem. I decided to run some tests, spawn some creatures and they were all broken. After some more uninstalling and reinstalling of FNIS and coming to the conclusion that it wasn't its fault I remembered the skeleton_female.hkx file inside the \Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets female I renamed it back to what it was supposed to be ran FNIS and that fixed it. I spawned some creatures again and they all worked again. The only creatures that were still broken were the draugrs that were already broken. Reloading a save before entering the crypt made the newly spawned draugr work fine. So one last thing, if a creature is already broken you probably can't do much to fix it but a freshly spawned one should work
Mud Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Unlikely. I'm using HDT and never messed with my skeleton_female.hkx, and sometimes have the draugr problem. I cannot say if I've gotten any closer to the solution than you have, but I did notice that draugr worked fine if I used coc qasmoke immediately at the main menu screen and spawned some draugr to mess with there. From there, I could then load another save file and the draugr would work there as well - I even now have a save file in qasmoke with the player surrounded by three aggressive draugr and SexLab Defeat's combat rape chance set to 100% at 100% health to facilitate this process. Conversely, if I were to start a new game with Live Another Life, I'd find draugr refusing to animate correctly, and loading my qasmoke save file would cause them to stop working as well. But as mentioned previously, if I start a new game, save and quit to desktop, then reboot the game and load my qasmoke file before loading my new file, draugr would work. Usually. Sometimes I find draugr aren't working right again in the middle of a play session and I have to do another reboot.
