Z0mBieP00Nani Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I was doing the quest lin to get married in Skyrim and I got to the part of the quest where you have to put on an Amulet of Mara to help two lost souls, and every time my character puts on the Amulet of Mara the amulet instantly kills my character.. Has anyone else run into this issue?
Guest Omega1084 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 There's a mod on the Nexus that makes certain deities kill you if they dislike you and you try to use their shrines/wear their amulets. I can't remember the name right now, maybe you have that installed?I can't think of another reason why it would kill you.

Guest Omega1084 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Well, the best I can advice is to go deactivating all your mods one by one to see which one kills you when you put on the amulet. It's certainly a weird bug.
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 I Just found out it's not the Amulet of Mara that is killing me. Apparently it is the Guldar Amulet, whenever I remove that amulet my character dies... FUCK!! I have like a million and one saves up to the point where I wasn't weaing the thing last and it wasn't killing me to take it off...

Z0mBieP00Nani Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 I'll try that and see if it works.. UPDATE: Yeah! that worked, that fixed the problem! Thanks for that suggestion! I can now equip and unequip the amulet without dieing, even with TGM turned off, yaaay! I had modified the Amulet to be.. just a tad more busted than the original since I felt the original was a little under powered for it being "a legendary forbidden amulet of immense power" and all, and the quest to get it is somewhat difficult for what it turns out to be. That's probably a part of what the problem was.. Anyway thanks again for the help.
