Hey, I've been looking for vanilla armorsets that are TBBP enabled for bodyslide and I haven't really found anything. Can someone point me in the right direction?

He hasn't given an ETA yet. He just says he's working on it and also adding a few new models.

 What's taking so long?

I know you are all eager for the update! Me too, and I apologize for how much time this is taking. But bear with me, it will be worth it. Here's a list of what's coming in v5 - hopefully this will explain why it's such slow going:

1. Adding almost all vanilla clothes and outfits (most unplayable outfits like the graybeard robes will not be included - hey, had to give myself a break somewhere). Might be skipping a few obscure items as well - not sure, but the vast majority of Skyrim default outfits will be in there.

2. Full support for all boots and gloves / gauntlets. Yes, you need bodyslide support for these if you use some of the arm sliders like ChubbyArms.

3. Full TBBP support for all outfits, as well as "butt-only" TBBP for some. This means there will be at least 2 mesh models for every outfit, 3 for some. Keep in mind that with Vanilla Replacers and Standalone versions, this creates a LOT of complexity with even small changes in a given outfit.

4. Skirts or extra belt armor for MOST outfits to add modesty - AS WELL AS classic versions for those who liked it the way it was. Note that in some cases you can zap away the skirt or extra bits, while in others there is an alternate outfit model required.

5. Bodyslide controlled outfit set generation. This is how you will control settings at both the group and individual outfit level, choosing things like TBBP or not, Zapped parts, Skirts or Classic, Zap panties and more. Building by groups will help speed the process.

6. More thigh boots and thigh boots compatibility; future compatibility with leggings (probably Gotha's), and panty swapping compatibility (Bikini Trouble panties). The goal here is to make it so there are MORE thigh boots etc. and so you can just put them on and have them automatically cover the leggings so you don't have to Zap leggings first. Same goes for panties. No zap required to use Craftable undies. The crafted versions just cover up the default panties.

7. Improved bodyslide results accross the board. While it's impossible to get all bodyslide results perfect, I'm doing my best to polish each outfit so it works with more body shapes and less clipping. Especially with BreastsSH and BreastsSSH.

Some notes:

1. Plugin (.esp) files will be required for ALL versions of my set in v5. Even the replacer will need the .esp file to set the right body partitions for panties and leg armor.

2. Two sliders that will be omitted from my set: 1) Pregnancy Belly, 2) Kneeheight. The pregnancy belly slider is too drastic (moves vertices too much) to support for so many outfits. Kneeheight breaks some meshes in funny ways. It's really meant for high-heels boots anyway and I include only low or no heels in my set. Sorry heels lovers. They just don't make sense for an athletic type moving around in Skyrim. Besides, in real life, high heels are very bad for the ladies - more than just posture, aches and pains, they can contribute to incontinence too. Think about that the next time you admore someone in heels. For those who really want the pregancy belly slider back: Note that you'll be able to load up my outfits in Outfit Studio and add it back if you really want to.

Hang tight,

Chrono
