Clockwork25 Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 So I recently re installed fallout 3 from disc got my mods loaded up and guess what? No main menu. The only way out of it is to ctrl-alt-dlt out of the game. But it doesnt freeze or anything the main menu just won't show up. Here's my load order if that helps. gregathit Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 You need to patch FO3 up to the latest patch (grab from the Beth site). Do any of your mods require FOSE? Check to make sure you have all requirements and run BOSS on your load order to make sure your good.

Check to make sure you have all requirements and run BOSS on your load order to make sure your good. Yes I have FOSE and this is the GOTY version so its up to date on all the patches. Suprisingly though diableing EVE sems to get it to work but it makes the game unstable and crash happy.
gregathit Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 When you disabled eve did you make a clean save or start a new game? One of these should help with the stability issues. If it doesn't then disable all your plugins and make a clean save and start enabling them one or two at a time to see if there is something besides eve messing things up.

I started a new game and it turns out that its Refuge.esp thats screwing around with everything. There are frequent crashes in that area though i'll just find a new home mod thanks man.
