Sexlab Submit + Devious Devices

Hi,

i´ve been reading the Threads but didn´t find any answer so far.

 

I am using Sexlab, Devious Devices, Submit and Defeat. Works "ok" so far, some Animations are buggy - but thats ok.

What is my biggest concern currently is the submit + devious devices seems somehow not working as intended.

 

When i get defeated - plays ok, i lost my current weapons and get abused. Afterwards i can run, hide - whatever.

When i submit (i have auto-submit when under 20% HP with a Chance of 25%), the procedure works well - i get bound and are lying hogtied on the floor.

There starts the problem - all involved NPC keep standing right next to me - looking at me. It constantly rolls for another round and after the 1-2 tries or 10-15 sec doing nothing another round starts. This contiues until i finally get the Armbinder (was testing with doing nothing, testing with trying to struggle).  Escaping without Armbinder is not possible currently for me. Why do the NPCs dont continue with their stuff they usually do? (sitting, patrol, alchemy, eat, ...)?

 

Is there maybe another Mod from the Sexlab series causing this?

I actually like the setting but every submit ending in complete bondage + armbinder is somehow a bit annoying.

Generally Submit and Defeat conflict since they both do roughly the same thing with the same triggers. However I don't think that's related to the issue you're describing which has to do with Submit.

 

I often have the same problem with the attackers not sandboxing after the PC is bound. I don't think there is any way to absolutely fix this as an end user. If this was neutral or friendly NPCs it would be possible to wait an hour and have them pop back into sandboxing, but since these are enemies that option is locked out.

 

The only thing you can do to mitigate it is use the couple of seconds of control you have after the attack and before being bound to move as far away as possible from your attackers. If you can you should try to position yourself away from the paths the NPCs might use for patrolling since they will "stick" to the bound player if they get too close.

 

You'll still be noticed immediately unless you're extremely lucky, but at least the extra distance will give you some chance to escape.

 

I do sympathise, I'd like to use the hardcore options for Submit as I really like the difficulty modification but the clingy AI just gets in the way.
