Yanazake Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Thanks for checking! Basically, i'm bad with screenshooting, and even more with pose mods - I don't use those, and trying to use them just to get the pictures while i am working on something else is kinda impratical. Basically, i'm making tutorials, and i'd like to add a Character as a guide. A female khajiit with mostly vanilla clothing. No skimpy outfits, maybe one modded dress or two, but nothing fancy - i want to keep the vanilla skyrim feel to some extent. The most prominent modded detail here would be the hair used, because i used one from Apachii Sky Hair. So, would anyone help me with these? You'll be given proper credit for the help and your name will be in the tutorial. It is a simple guide, but i'm working on their presentation for study purposes. So, what would i need to give? The edited values in the racemenu, or a saved preset? I'm not sure how to use the save preset functions from the racemenu mod tho.
Thulas Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Giving away the safegame probably would be easiest was for that. If you want that character as a guide, shouldn't we know a bit more about it then? After all this would determind if she needs to point at something or do a certain thing. I personally would recommend you to simply learn how to take screenshots; it's rather simple and that way you can get exactly what you need.
Vancien Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 ^ I agree with Thulas. You can easily learn how to do screen shots yourself. All it takes is a little practice. You are going to know better than anyone else trying to help what you need this character to do for the tutorial. And if you do want someone to do the shots for you anyway, more information around what the actor needs to be doing would be helpful.
Yanazake Posted February 24, 2014 Author Posted February 24, 2014 I know how to take screenshots, what i'd like to avoid is using pose mods and expression mods - these require use of fnis and i lately had little time to play or mod skyrim itself. That's why i'm requesting for help with these. Sure, i can make the savegame, but i'm not sure how much stuff i should remove from my game for that to work. Anyway, i need a group of screens for this, six or eight would be enough. Two with simple clothing, two or four with armor, and two with mage robes. These are basically a standing/simple pose and one pose related to the equipment, as in, Leather armor with lighter weapons drawn, dragonbone with a two handed sword, mage reading books, and... Well, for the simple clothing, it can probably be the brooming animation. The standing drawn weapon stance is enough for the others. These are to represent the difficulty of the tutorial, ranging from easy, medim, hard and "complicated". The fourth difficulty does not mean it is something hard, just that attention to what is being done is really important. I probably wouldn't need the dragonbone screenshots anytime soon, so that's why i said six or eight.
Thulas Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 If it is such a simple pose you need, why not simply pick an idle animation replacer? You wouldn't need FNIS for it (at least I think it isn't needed).
