Nipton CTD

Hi everyone. Let me aologize firstward should this issue or a similair one have been discussed before.

So it goes like this. I approach Nipton, game crashes. I fast travel to Nipton, game crashes. Sometimes once i get to Nipton i don't get a CTD immediately but once i start shooting at legionaries, game crashes. I tried fo figure out what's wrong by the means of FNVEdit and BOSS - everything seems ok.

I included ALL of the mods i got into separate txt file.

I doubt it has anything to do with weapon mods or texture mods or armors or companions - these used to work perfectly. I also disabled all of sexout mods and ran the game then. Then i enabled main esm files. Game seemed to work properly. THen i started to check sexout mods one by one. The game either crashed in Nipton again or i couldn't enter Nipton Town Hall. Dunno maybe someone call look deeper into this problem? Maybe there's some incompatibilities with other mods? Help me out please? Thanks.

152 Plugins is a lot, you may have hit the mysterious limit- in theory you can have 255 but people often start hitting problems over 100. I would first try disabling about 50 non-sexout ones and see if that fixes it. If not, it is advisable to disable some anyway.

 

Also, check you have the current versions of your plugins.

 

If you know/suspect one of your other mods modifies Nipton, then obviously try disabling that. I'm not familiar with a lot of your mods so I can't suggest which one might cause a problem, but otherwise you will have to disable/enable combinations of mods until you track down the problem one.

I've been doing this tracking down the problem routine since yesterday's evening when i found out that game crashes on Nipton. The only texture altering plugin that i have installed aside from weapon retexturing ones is http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/43135/? but i doubt that's the case.

It appears i'll have to delete my current Data folder, add an old one (without mods) i stashed just for one of these occasions start installing mods again and be very carefull... Oh joy...

Nipton should be the first legion encounter. What about Vulpes Inculta? could you try to placeatme him with console, in another place, to see if the game still crashes?

 

PS I think you should put Alice before SexOut or it could give problems with animations... but if you didn't have issues with SO animations till now, it's ok...
