Mindtwisted1 Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Sofar after countless of hours reading tutorials, biting chunks out of my desk and banging my head against the creation kit i can see the end of the tunnel. Let's start off by saying i have never modded a game before and ofcourse from the getgo am trying to created a custom follower, with a custom race/skeleton and wanted to make her standalone (which wasn't really that smart "probably" . Now i have worked under the presumtion that the folder character assets in textures and meshes holds all the files of your characters in-game created appearance. So in the creation kit i have duped the nord race. Created a "naked" armor and adjusted the skeleton path and the armor. Created all the textures files, added my face to the formlist, created custom headparts and pretty much everything i needed to make her standalone. Problem 1: Now when i look at my char in the creation kit the hand and feet are not connecting with the body (small seams). All the files that i used are simply the same as the character assets textures and meshes so i have no idea why they would act that way. Problem 1 fixed itself somehow O.o. I just started the CK and now all the seams are correct . Problem 2: My follower in-game is equiping armor, but it is not showing up on her body for some reason. I can make her follow me etc without problems Problem 2 fixed with the tip from xenic Problem 3: I created a custom race since i wanted to adjust the waist, neck and shoulders, but somehow the skeleton.nif that i copied out of my character assets is not showing these changes. So i figured i would try and adjust them in nifskope myself, but i can't seem to find the bones for the waist (xp32 skeleton). Most likely i'm doing this all horribly wrong, but i figured i would simply do some trial and error running for a few days. The mods i used are calientes body mod, pretty face, ECE, SG body retextures and the eyes of beauty.
xenic Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I know in the CK you have to slesct "armor race" from one of the drop downs. Then your character can wear armor.

That actually did the trick. I just copied the nordset so to speak so figured this was one menu i didn't need to look -.-. Thanks again!
