theHatzel Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 A lots of games that I've downloaded had this incon. I think this should be some kind of engine, but I don't know how to open games with that.
windpl Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 It is "2D格闘ツクール2nd." engine. If you have only exe then you are missing several files.
theHatzel Posted February 15, 2014 Author Posted February 15, 2014 No, I have all the game's files, and it is happening in all games that have this icon. Do you know if I have to install something before play the game?
windpl Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 On what OS? Regardless, I think that you need to have installed asian language pack for your os. And most likely have your os set to Japan region.
theHatzel Posted February 15, 2014 Author Posted February 15, 2014 Winsows 8. And I already have the Language pack
windpl Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Winsows 8. And I already have the Language pack Sorry can't help you here.
ds64 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I think that is a mugen engine, it's mostly used for battle games. What game is it?
theHatzel Posted February 15, 2014 Author Posted February 15, 2014 A lot:Elis Prisioner Princess 囚姫淫虐エリス体験版 FairyFighting ハンターズエッジ体験版 (this one http://www.dlsite.com/maniax/work/=/product_id/RJ096996 ) and some other ones
ds64 Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Now that's weird, I'm pretty sure I can play Fairy fighting just fine without any need to install an RTP at all.Don't know about the other though. What problem did you have?
theHatzel Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 When I click to open just blink a black screen and the game closes.
Captain Cobra Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Don't you need to set unicode to Japanese?
ds64 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 For a windows OS it looks like a common problem with the NET Framework, like missing it. Wait, did those games need NET Framework to run? I just tried the newest version, and it works,http://eluku99.blog93.fc2.com/ I just remembered that NET Frameworks in win8 is disabled by default. But try the newest version in the developer blog first.
