Male husbands in Skyrim look awful.

Bethesda did dirty female and gay gamers with male marriage options in vanilla. Half of them look dirty, are balding, got bad painted faces and look homeless and in one occasion IS actually a homeless guy.

As opposed to female husbands. But NPC replacers are a popular mod type for a reason. Even if many of them are aimed at female NPCs, you have options for the males.

All spouse options in the game are ugly partly because of the game's visual rendering style for living things and partly because of the art style (even putting aside the whole issue of Target Audiences). 

They didn't consider anyone's attraction at all in TES 5 (unlike the first two installments in the series).

well with mods you can have them look so good they'll impregnate you just by looking at you (even if you're a man cuz magic) 👍
