I take no credit for the mod its just an overhauled, modernized recreation of Chingyu's (Vicky Sims) **100 Base Game Traits Pack (V2.6)** from scratch, featuring updated XML tuning schemas, deprecated tag removal (zero Last Exception errors) So it works on the latest update without bugs preventing you from playing.

When I use your 100 Base Game Traits Pack V2 (Remade & Modernized), the game won't open and I get an error message. See attached image.

This doesn't appear to contain anything dangerous but there could be subtly renamed xml content in those big packages, but I have to question what's in this rar file.  The .scripts only contain raw python not the compiled versions needed for the game to run them, and there's multiple copies of the original mod packages.  I think you uploaded your entire raw build environment instead of the intended finished package sir.

 

What made this?  It feels like an AI construction that almost understands how sims 4 scripts work.

I have had no issues with it so far. I just followed the instructions in the readme file and copied the appropriate files from the Ready_to_install_mods folder in the rar :
 

1. Choose your preferred version:
   * **CAS Version**: Copy `Chingyu_Remade_Modern_BasicTraits_CAS.package` and/or `Chingyu_Remade_Modern_AttractivenessTraits_CAS.package` to your Sims 4 Mods folder (`Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods`).
   * **Reward Version**: Copy `Chingyu_Remade_Modern_BasicTraits_Reward.package` and/or `Chingyu_Remade_Modern_AttractivenessTraits_Reward.package`.
   * **(Optional)** If not using Scumbumbo's XML Injector, also copy `Chingyu_RewardStore_StandaloneInjector.ts4script`.

That seems to have prevented any issues, as you only need the those package files. I did not use the scriptfile as I use the xml injector.

I think the files havent been properly compiled. Usually a trait is a package file. An additional script file is only necessary if there are interactions involved, not just stats overrides. But here there are python files, double packages, script files and almost everything that should be in a script file.

 

General rule:

If its not package or script file, dont install it.

The last time I saw a real malware attempt on this site the posting account blocked comments, but it was literally a script that was pretending to be the Modguard script but skipping the checking and defending part, if it got loaded in the wrong order it would have worked and disabled Modguard.

Something about this upload is still giving me a bad feeling, the author (who's never participated in this forum ever) hasn't responded to anything despite visiting and seeing this dialog and its got a lot of strange content in it, its not even an adult theme mod so why its being posted here vs other mainstream sites is odd.  I'd avoid it.

This is sus. I have the last updated files in my game from Chingyu and it runs no issue on the latest version of the game.

It's not working. I use the XML Injector, but the game won't even launch with the files in the Mods folder.

Noticed some of the complaints and made fixes to the mod and removed useless files which were the one I was editing also tested it with xml injector which is no longer needed but is still now compatible and not conflicting removed the rewards version so now its just the 2 packages  and a read me
