About This File
A Fresh Start for Familiar Traits ✨
Some Sims deserve more personality—and some favorite mods deserve a second chance.
This is my remade and repaired package of Chingyu / Vicky Sims’ original Basic Traits and Attractiveness Traits, put together so others can keep enjoying these traits in their games.
With the original creator seemingly unavailable to maintain this version, I wanted to give it some care. All credit for the original traits and creative work belongs to Chingyu / Vicky Sims. This is an unofficial community remake, not an official update or an endorsed release.
🛠️ What’s been fixed?
- Package errors that could prevent the game from starting.
- Incorrect resource IDs and malformed language tables.
- Build issues that could bring those problems back.
- Removed editable files I uploaded I see how they were confusing
- Mods now work without injectors but xml should not cause compatibility issues
📦 What’s included?
Two CAS packages—Basic Traits and Attractiveness Traits—plus a simple installation guide. The focus is preserving the original personality and gameplay while repairing the packaging.
✅ Both packages have been tested together in my game on Windows, version 1.128.90.1030. Compatibility with every other mod or future patch isn’t confirmed.
Please remove older copies of these same traits before installing. If something goes wrong, share your game version, which package you installed, and any error message so I can investigate.
Familiar personalities, a repaired home, and more stories waiting to happen. 💚
