Guest Alterspirit Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 So for a while now I've been creating my characters with ECE. I honestly have never gone wrong with it, haha. Amazing tool  But after seeing a crap-load of images with tattoos and layers of all sorts, I decided it was about time I installed RaceMenu so I could do so. There are no collisions, no crashes, nothing. The problem I'm recieving is a choppy frame rate.  It's not a constant lag as in gameplay lag. The lag is coming specifically from RaceMenu. When I open it up, it's fine. Everything's okay for about five minutes in. At that point, whenever there is a big menu up, and in this case the menu being the ECE options, the framerate will drop to around 2-3 frames p/sec. When I switch menus at this point, the framerate increase but only slighty and leaves me at about 6-7 frames. It's become so unbearable that I've had to uninstall it and it's rather discouraging.  I've checked the mod page for anything along the lines of what I'm getting and so far I've got nothing. It shouldn't be the load order, according to Expired. I have downloaded the Pre-Cache Killer, so it's nothing to do with the hair. In fact, it doesn't even crash. It only gets to the point where the keys I put in aren't responding well enough.  If you have any idea of how to fix this up, please say so. It'll help out a ton, thanks
TheDriedFinger Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I experience something like this on a regular basis. Let's say I want to change the weight slider from 0 to 100. Go straight from 0 to 100, and the framerate seriously drops. How I get around this is I go from 0 to 10, let it adjust for a few seconds, then I go from 10 to 20, let it adjust again, 20 to 30, etc.
Groovtama Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Probably memory leak/overload happening when you use the RaceMenu + ECE combo you can delay that by using mods that make the 1 + 2 memory block of skyrim bigger. Alternative close the racemenu and open it again. Should clean the memory and you have a good framerate again in the ECE option of RaceMenu,
