LadyCorona Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I’ve been working on a project called Cinema, an in-game cinematic and scene-authoring framework for Skyrim Special Edition. It originally started as a camera system, but it has gradually grown into something much larger: a toolkit for posing actors, controlling cameras, editing lights, manipulating objects, playing animations, and building cinematic scenes directly inside Skyrim. Current features include: Orbit, Drone, Free Camera and POV workflows Actor targeting, focus and camera tracking In-game Pose Editor with bone helpers and direct 3D selection Move / Rotate / Scale editing Pin / Lock system for planted hands, feet and other body parts Limb-aware posing and IK-style behavior Weapon, scabbard, quiver and attachment editing Animated Object control Animation browsing and playback Head and eye control Facial editing Runtime Light Editor World/object authoring tools OStim integration and cinematic event support UI input isolation so editor controls do not accidentally select objects behind the interface The main goal is to make it possible to pose, stage, light, animate and shoot a scene without constantly leaving the game for external tools. The Pose Editor has recently received a lot of work, especially around Pin/Lock behavior, limb solving, object manipulation and performance. Latest development showcase https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6AZF9BEUeQ Cinema is still a work in progress, and there is more planned for the authoring side of the project, but it is finally reaching the point where it feels less like a camera mod and more like an actual in-game cinematic editor.
