[XCL] [0.25.9] Palais Royale

This adds a casino where you can spend your hard earned (escort?) money.

This is a work-in-progress and at best a MVP.

I've implemented Slots (one 3-reel machine), Baccarat (two variants), Roulette, and Texas Hold'em.

It's functional, reasonably stable but far from feature complete; eg few story elements and such.  I would love to get some feedback on the general idea and some extra play-testing would be awesome. If you're interested my backlog is in the zip file.

  • This is designed by myself and coded with help from Gemini, I'd like to think about half and half
  • I always have my audio off so there's no audio for now
  • Images and much of the dialogue is written by Gemini
  • There might be an extra, more recent media file available for preview builds; 0.0.2h is the current one required

Integration support for:

  • Backpage
  • Get Caged: Redux
  • Cucked

Questions, bug reports, feedback, requests, etc are best made via the Palais Royale thread in the mods channel on the official XCL Discord server.  That's also where you can find intermediate/preview builds...

There's been a few times it's struggled for texas hold'em, the 10k table never seems to work for me, it just drains a chunk of money out of the available chips to the point where you're under the buy-in and tells you you don't have enough to buy into the game. Tried both with bought chips and loaned chips.

I've also noticed a few times for flushes, the AI will count a three of a kind beating it. But other times it doesn't. A few of the "higher level" card hands seem wobbly. I played around with it for like 15 minutes the other day and i had a few hands that I should've won that the game counted as another player winning despite having a lower hand.

Sometimes despite winning the AI will also end up with a lower chip count after knocking out other AI players. I think that one has to do with a shared behavior or "personality" however you have that setup, but it might just be a placebo effect because it felt like it was only doing it when two players that were over-aggressive were in show-downs.
