Since content keeps imploding due to drama, what are currently working animation mods out there?

So far all i see is senseless discord drama and a bunch of mods that stopped development or disappeared, so i gonna ask here....What mods currently do work and preferably arent on some silly drama train?

Well you're probably safe with any mods that change the pals. There are a bunch over on the nexus and some here. I haven't ventured into the animation stuff because I don't care for the "anatomically accurate" nude mods. My understanding is that the animation stuff really only works well with those kind of nude mods. I could be wrong on that part so take this with a grain of salt. I prefer the "big titty" and "short stack" nudes. The modder TBoxBR has a lot of good ones over on the Nexus and is actively making more.

Yeah, TNorBR made some nice skins!

 

Im mostly interested if this has gone anywhere decent and i dont want to sink much time into finding some project animating my favorite pals to see it nuke itself because people are mean to each other.

There's 2 modders who predominantly work with TBox's anthro mods in Greyu and Sibelyx.

 

However, they're waiting for a contender to appear for their works to pick back up, which from murmurs I'm hearing is a Soon (TM).

For the author however, due to there only being the 1 framework (SugarCake) being owned by the person who caused said drama in the first place, you're only gonna get like 3 people (Shiin, TemTem, Lurker) out of the 10 or 11 who exist overall (Sibelyx, Greyu, Menar, Z3N, Bakkas, Lemonlord, JohnD, and Lanz) on anything working right now.

 

At least 5 of them will pick things back up again should another animation framework come into the mix.

Sorry there's been people causing problems. >.<

Over in The Broken Chatbox discord we have updated JSON files and other compatibility things so most things are still functional on the newest Sugar Cake versions. TemTemLover's and Lurker's animations have been fully updated, I'm also told Shiinr provides an updated JSON file for Sugar Cake and works on the latest update. I wouldn't be in the know for much else, we've got people making new animations and such in our community (The Broken Chatbox) but many are focusing on replacer stuffs atm. The only stuff that won't work after Palworld 1.0 are Human animations, or stuff that replace the human skeleton, and robinquill/versdash stuff as they got redesigns, those all need to be updated for 1.0. For everything else it's just grabbing an updated JSON file if you're referring to Sugar Cake (or use of the many scripts available to update them).

It's mainly just one person perpetuating drama, so I wouldn't be too worried about that. 

 

As for the working versions, on the Jackal's Den discord a new open-source sex/animation mod is in the works. There's also Scake, but the latest version doesn't have a lot of animation support given the treatment of animators from the mod author. As of right now, most modders have their mods not for the latest version of scake because of how much it changed animation code (I think.) If you want to get more animations, you should join Jackal's Den since most animators are on there.

I'm in a similar boat. Played Palworld upon Early Access release, fell off of it after some time, and just recently jumped back in after all the big updates and 1.0 release. Checked here to see what the 'spicy' modding community had going on, just to discover pic related.

Because some folks need to be the center of attention and insult those who literally make their items do something if they don't like them.

 

As I understand it so far, just give it another month or 2 for an item to appear for your use.

I have more or less given up on making Palworld adult at this point, beyond mesh edits of the Pals anyway. The modding scene here is too wrapped up in drama, all the animations seem to require specific meshes to work -- and honest to god I hate how the prevailing style is 'Slap tits on it, make them big, make the Pal thicc, yes even the birds and dinosaurs, done' -- and as a rule I NEVER go to Discord for mods.

7 time out of 10, it's an echo chamber where the modder -- who is prone to ego -- rule them like little fiefs. Mind you, my mind might be poisoned against them since the last one I went too was Fallout's the Frontier, which was... so bad, like holy shit there was so much ego and douchebaggery there that the mod's failure feels cathartic to this very day.

Back on track; I don't think the Animations are going to really take off at this rate, not unless some unifying factor comes in to centralize everything. As things are now it feels like if you like one animation pack, you're shoehorned into it's requirements whether you like them (Like meshes that don't fit your preference) or not, though I may be wrong.

The discords kind of depend on where you're looking, cause the predominant ones are: Tbox's server (the anthro/thicc pals guy), Jackal's Den (where several animators and modders have coalesced together for different projects), Zetter3D's Shelter (the guy for human/NPC meshes and some pal works), and I guess TBC (does not play nice with anyone from the former 3 servers).

 

As for the animation packs, it more so depends on what you're looking for when they work, majority of them (Lanz, Menar, TemTem, Lemonlord, Lurker, and Shiinr) all use mostly Jackal/Z3N's mesh pack for the pals, meanwhile Sibelyx and Greyu are the only 2 who use TBox's anthro mods for their animations (Greyu also has some for Jackal mesh, but they're older animations).

 

Bakkas also has one, but his has animations that require his own meshes for those into the niche he satisfies (vore). 

 

Otherwise, you won't really find much "ego stroking" in the former 3 listed discords, speaking as someone who's a neutral party in all 3. They answer questions, help with troubleshooting, let you give requests or ask questions for relevant things (animations or otherwise if applicable), only real rule is just don't be a dick, spread drama or attack other members (bare minimum stuff).

 

Can't say anything for TBC since I've been banned from it for the crime of talking in TB's server sometime last year.

I feel you. Its kind of ok for some pals that are already anthros and human looking ones on top of it but i seen soo many that just look wrong. No, thats an understatement they look seriously wrong.

There are soo many mods that try to apply human pussy onto these animals and its just a giant slit with wrong proportions and as you said we have a ton of lizards with tits.

 

I would rather see something believeable on them or just how they would look IRL because it just break my heart how silly some look.

I still have some hope that someone does it or at the very least those in the discords arent going to mess up the fun of others because someone hurt their feelings.

There is an open-source animation framework being worked on currently that should work well with dynamicpals' ability to work between certain replacers and json folders.

 

Though the caveat would be that any packs working with it won't be usable with SCake unless someone opts to format it for that instead. However, since the person working on it is on good standing with majority of the other animators, it shouldn't really be too much of a headache going forward with them in contrast to current monopoly.

Oversized genitals and breast are a huge turn off for me. I've always prefer slimmer athletic and petite builds.
