NakedStart

Now Available - i HAD it on the other website, but they banned me, so i'm reposting my mod here.
 

Every "start naked" mod fights over the same two records. That's why they crash.

I built this one because I kept losing playthroughs. The naked-start mod I was using would CTD every so often, and when I finally opened it up the reason was obvious: it was overriding the Player record and the intro quest MQ101 "Unbound" — two of the most contested records in the entire game. Every race mod, every perk overhaul, every vampire mod, every alternate start touches them. It's also why mods like that ship a separate ESP per scenario: one for ASLAL, one for vanilla, one for whatever else.

NakedStart doesn't do any of that. It's an SKSE plugin — no ESP, no records touched, nothing to conflict with, nothing to sort in your load order. It waits for the new game to actually begin (after the alternate-start menu, after char-gen) and then strips your inventory. Not unequips — removes. You start with nothing to put back on. Find it, buy it, or kill for it.
 

What's included:
 

• One DLL, no ESP — nothing in your load order, nothing to patch, nothing to conflict with.

• Works with any start — ASLAL, Skyrim Unbound, Realm of Lorkhan, vanilla Helgen. Same single version for all of them.

• Actually naked — armor, clothing and jewelry are removed from the inventory, not just taken off.

• Whatever you find afterwards is yours — the strip only runs in the first seconds of a new game, so the first outfit you pick up stays on.

• Quest items are left alone.

• Existing saves are untouched — it only ever fires on a new game.

• SE / AE / VR — version-independent through Address Library.
   

This isn't another naked-start ESP with a new name on it — it's the one that never needed to touch a record in the first place.

• Address Library for SKSE Plugins
   

Installation

1. Install with Vortex or MO2 like any other mod.

2. Start a new game. That's it — no MCM, nothing to configure.

ok, is this another alt start or it effects all new game/alt starts the same, I have a few alt starts hat gives eqipment and stuff, its lke a starter pack for lack of a better term.

hi, yees! i was tired of randon crashs with mods that make you start naked. so i made this one!    tested in the latest version of skyrim! if you use older versions and have problems with that, let me know!

yes, its the lack of them, it will work with any starting game.

It's a personal preset that i made.

so it will remove those as well, if this is the case, with those starts you should set up a chest or something to place those items in and the player has to find them. kind of a search quest.

I just installed the 1.1 version of this mod, started a new character and clothes are still there.
I'm using alternate perspective as starting mod and game version is 1.5.97, if that helps, usually skse shows me a message if a dll fails to load but nothing appears so I assume it's started correctly.
