messing with old terraria mobile

So i was fiddling around with an old version of terraria on my phone. (1.2) IOS and turns out you can essentially add textures packs by replacing the files of the game. 

1.3 and beyond loses this functionality sadly on ios. i am aware of modding methods for android though.

I tried adding backgrounds and clouds with some issues

-the clouds are either cut off or have random pixels everywhere

-some backgrounds just dont get applied 

i might try making a pack for this so i can experience nostalgia and goon
