Lustful Void Nomads Unnoficial Patch

Description: 

 

Hello there! So, the Nomads DLC broke a lot of things, especially the colony/planet scopes with the introduction of the Ark Ships. In this mod patch, I will try to fix some of those things while the mod is not updated.

 

Current Features:

• Ark Ships Pleasure districts
• Changed the logic for the buildings so that they can, again, be built on the corresponding district (e.g., SexLabs on Research districts)

 

Planned Features:

• Fix the scope for the traits that have interactions with another trait so that they do not clog the error.log
• Fix Dairy world doesn't affect the dairy cows
• Create the modifiers for Breeding World and Dairy World for Ark Ships
• Fix the Interspecies sperm/womb policies

It unfortunately says that the mod isn't loading. I dropped it into the mod folder next to LV. Did i screw up my installation?

Don't know if it was the right thing, but putting the "descriptor" file caused two mods of the same name, one with a red warning and a yellow, but the yellow one works.

All you have to do is edit the .mod file in Notepad++ and change the path line from "danie" to w/e your user folder name is.

 

Current path is:

path="C:/Users/danie/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/Lustful Void Nomads"

 

Correct path is:

path="C:/Users/INSERTYOURUSERFOLDERNAMEHERE/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/Lustful Void Nomads"

I was about to say that didn't work, but turns out for some reason my mods are stored on onedrive. Fuck you Microsoft.

For those unfortuned, who struggle to understend, why this isn't working. In my case, just editing the Lustful Void Nomads.mod file didn't help. Actualy, you also might need to edit supported_version="v4.0.*" line in descriptor.mod (that file inside LV Nomads folder) and change it into supported_version="v4.4.*" so it will match same line in LV Nomads.mod

Gem Incubator district doesn't show up after researching the tech. Milk and Sexologist do however.

The selection decisions for balanced, sexology/minerals only, consumer goods/alloys doesn't work on arkships. All three options are shown on the decision screen.

Aggressive breeding origin trait is not converting pops on arkships.

Okay so hun - I finally got free enough to start looking.

First off - great work so far: I've had no issues with the limited testing so far (aside from those things you've listed as goals).

One important thing is the Lustful Void.mod file: you don't need to define an absolute path, when a relative path will do.

eg:

path="mod/Lustful Void Nomads"

I'll look at decisions, but honestly that's fine. Thank you for the effort spent!

So, I changed the path, it is in my OneDrive folder, but it disappeared on the mod order. The red triangle is better than not seeing it, so IDK what the fuck I am doing.

@DNL you let your name in the file. instead of path="mod/(mod name)". the rest appears to not be necessary.
