Vithiss Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 It would be nice, I think, if there were a way of tracking the pc's responses, especially in the pre-slave period, so that if the pc consistently refuses a particular kind of request while consistently accepting others this could shape the nature of the demands made in slavery. If I understand at all the way that Heromaster is setting up quest progression via pc choices ( http://www.loverslab.com/topic/23135-wip-a-prostitution-and-player-slavery-mod-0102b/ ) I think it should be possible and would allow people to exclude content from their playthrough whether because of personal tastes or just for rp variety.

Actually it would probably be simpler to just go with the slider idea mentioned earlier. Rather than having a single gentle/cruel slider, you would have multiple weight sliders. A slider for gentle would determine how often the dom wants a gentle scene. Another slider for punishment for punishment scenes. A third for beastiality, and more for prostitution, humiliation, restrictions (limited/no armor or otherwise), bondage, chastity (belts and such). Then when it is time for the script to choose a new demand from the dom, it first picks a category with the probability given by the weights. Then from the category it picks a demand from that category list. I would allow for a particular demand belonging to more than one category. If a large enough pool of demands can be developed, I could also see setting a minimum requirement for the demand to be chosen. More extreme demands would only be allowed if the weight slider was set high enough, or perhaps add a second intensity slider to each category. This would allow players a lot of flexibility in setting up the personality of their dom, and allow for a greater range of kinks to be served without subjecting players to scenes they find objectionable. There is still room for quest progression to influence dom demands, but I imagine it is a lot more work to implement. In the interest of getting a mod such as this started, MCM based sliders would be the way to go for the first version. Then start adding the potential for quests to adjust sliders in various directions automatically. This also allows having a working system before enough quests have been established to organically establish the PCs preferences.

I can imagine some demands might only make sense at home (party favor) and others might only really make sense while traveling with a follower (fuck this "random" beast we just found).
