I keep running into a problem with starfield where it crashes, and steam was shut down.

 

Steam doesn't get shut down by any other game.

 

I do not know if the game is crashing because steam shut down or if steam is shutting down because the game is crashing.

 

Either way, this is of course frustrating, and I am looking for hints about how to isolate (and hopefully fix) this problem.
