All climax animations except internal are inaccessible

I used Wicked Whims a lot back in the day, but I stopped playing a few years back, and now I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I first downloaded Wicked Whims on its own with no extra animations, and I noticed there weren't any options to do a climax animation. I figured maybe there just weren't any in the default (which seems like a strange omission, but okay), so I downloaded GreyNaya's animation package. When I do a MF animation on a double bed, it only gives me the option of two climax animations (which are both internal), even though the animation list says there should be 13. If I do it on the floor, it gives me no climax options at all.

This is with a brand new install of both the game and WW. I even tried it with all the other mods removed to make sure nothing else was interfering with it, but I mainly just have cosmetic mods anyway. I don't have MCCC or Nisa Perversion's or anything else like that which makes major changes to the game. So why am I not seeing any of the climax animations except a couple internal ones?

I'd really appreciate if someone can help me out with this. It kinda takes all the fun out of sex animations if there's no climaxes.

Are you sure that the 13 animations you're referring to are applicable in your scenario?

As in that they are meant to be used by a straight couple?

Not in every case, but in enough cases to know that something's wrong. The animation package I downloaded was GreyNaya's. You can see that some of the animations (such as "Because I Want You_Climax" for Double Bed) are specifically indicated as MF. The only ones that show up for me are "DB_Cowgirl_CLIMAX" and "DB_Passionate Climax".

And actually, as I look at the list again, there's one called "OOPS...(UNEXPECTED CREAMPIE)" that does not show up for me, so I guess that breaks the hypothesis that it's the external ones that aren't showing up.

I can't tell you 100% how it works, because I don't use it, but WW does now have some level of "smart" censoring that allows you to filter out animations that might be offensive (i.e., so you don't have to wait for the offending animation to play right in front of you and then disable it manually). This is based entirely on tags the animators give their animations, I believe. Anyway, if you have that option turned out, WW may be filtering out a chunk of your animations for this reason. To check this, go to your Wicked Whims Settings, and select Sex Settings, and scroll down. You should see two categories named "Dynamic Animations Disabler" and "Specific Animations Disabler." If you click on the first one, make sure the box next to "Sex Animations Safety Switch" is unchecked. You can also check the second one, which lists all the animators you have installed, and gives you their animation count as a fraction of Enabled/Total. For example, Grey Naya should say "Animations Count: 451/451." If it says something like "300/451" instead, that means you have some disabled.

Okay, first of all, thank you for the detailed, step-by-step instructions. Sometimes the WW settings are pretty confusing to navigate.

The Sex Animations Safety Switch was unchecked, and the Grey Naya animation count said 449/449 (not sure why it was two off from yours, but there does seem to be more than two climax animations missing, so I suspect that's an unrelated issue).

It was starting to look like a dead end, but here's where things get interesting. When I click on Grey Naya under Specific Animations Disabler, and then select Climax, it shows almost all Climax animations on the Enabled side, but greyed out. And those do seem to match up with the ones that weren't showing up as options during sex. Any idea why that would be happening?

...I downloaded Azmodan's animations (gold_normal), to make sure this problem wasn't specific to Grey Naya. Well, I guess the answer is "yes and no." None of Azmodan's climaxes were grayed out like Grey Naya's, and they were selectable from the Context/Climax section of the sex pie menu. But they still aren't triggering as part of a playlist, even when they clearly belong to one. For instance, when I selected TitJob-BlowJob Stage 1, it automatically transitioned into TitJob-BlowJob Stage 2, but then after Stage 2 was finished, it just jumped over to a different random animation instead of doing TitJob-BlowJob Climax. Is there a setting for that I can check?

As if that weren't enough, when I manually selected one of Azmodan's climaxes that wasn't internal, there was no actual cumshot. There was movement and sound, which were evocative of a climax, but no jizz. I thought that was built into WW, is that a separate mod I need to install?

Hey! I think I might have it! I was browsing through my animations list to see if I had any greyed out, and I do, and they are all animations that I didn't bother to download required CC for. Then I thought to myself, that doesn't make sense for you, because I know some of those animations, and they don't require CC. But they do! It's just such a common CC, that we never think of it as such:

Don't forget to download Cherry_Pie's CumMesh - lots of climax animations require it!

(Fingers crossed this is the solution.)

Edit to add: And this would make perfect sense why you can still see the internal ones!

Good news, that did solve the first problem. And now that I know what to look for, I can do a CTRL-F search and see that it is listed as a requirement for Grey Naya's animations.

Unfortunately, the climax animations are still not playing as part of a series of linked animations, or automatically at all. If I don't select a climax animation by hand, the game just keeps cycling through random penetration animations until the characters stop abruptly. Could that be a setting I need to change as well?

That one I do know the answer to. It's a separate setting that's easier to change.

In Sex Settings, go to Sex Interaction Settings, then Sex Duration Settings, then Player Sex Duration, and select Climax Finish.

Then back out to Sex Interaction Settings, go to Sex Progression Settings, then Sex Animations Progression, and set it to either Sequence Only or Full Progression (the latter is the choice I select, because it prefers to go through an entire sequence, but if you're playing a sequence that doesn't have an appropriate next step, it will try to find a random one for you, instead of just ending the sex prematurely).

Also, don't forget to go offline and disable automatic updates! EA is dropping a patch this afternoon that might break mods.

Edit to add: Advice from me is, after you have your settings the way you like them, save them as a settings profile with a useful name. Then, if you start a new game, you can immediately switch profiles to your previously saved settings, so you don't have to do any of this over again. I actually have several profiles saved that I choose based primarily on which lifespan I'm playing at the time (i.e., with different pregnancy chances and durations for long rather than short life).

Seems like I better deal with this first before I open the game to check on those settings you mentioned. I got the base game through Steam, so if I set that to not update until I launch the game, and then don't ever launch it through Steam, will that prevent it from updating? Or do I also need to turn something off in the EA app?

I didn't get it through steam, so I don't know what all you have to do. Search around these forums or on Google, and I'll bet you'll find the answer.
