Vertigo123 Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Hi everyone, Trying to get back into modding Skyrim and I've gotten a rather strange occurrence that I assume is something I'm doing wrong, but i cannot for the life of me figure out what. Whenever I initiate an animation (using Naked Defeat ATM), the characters seem to, for lack of better words, bounce off each other and end up next to each other. If use Sexlab's tools to re-set the actors' positions, they snap back to a normal alignment that should work (there's penetration and everything), but then within a second, they rebound and push to be next to each other instead. I'm using Sexlab P+ on Skyrim Special edition-- If it helps, I've attached my load order. FNIS only returns two notes on a consistency check regarding Naked Defeat, I believe I have all the mods that are required. Can someone offer me some advice as to what I'm doing wrong here? if there's any other info I can provide, please let me know. loadorder.txt

traison Posted June 29 Posted June 29 First guess is that something has broken the code that's supposed to disable collisions on the actors starting a scene. P+ has a bit of a reputation of breaking things and being generally incompatible with anything not-P+. So: If you still intend to continue using P+, make sure there's nothing overriding its files; especially nothing that's not part of the P+ family. Check your Papyrus log. Remove P+ and test again. Remember to clean its scripts out with ReSaver or start a new game before testing.

Utility is SLB something or other. However, my advice is to ditch SLP+, SexLab Framework is not broken, so why fix it? If SLP+ actually provided something SexLab Framework didn't, I'd use it - - - but it doesn't. Of course I'm highly opinionated, YMMV.

That track record about P+ I didn't know-- it was recommended on one of the mods I tried to use, so I'm giving it a shot. so if i cant fix it, then I'll roll back to Standard Sexlab. At this point its a bit of a learning experience. 1. From what I can see on my Mod Organizer, P+ is winning every file conflict, and the instructions stated to download the SLA versions then use the SLAL version, don't download SLAL itself and then get the SLSB patch that should convert them all over. Billyy's animations has its own patch file outside of the big automated patcher, and even those animations are making things springboard away. 2. Attached the papyrus log-- looks like there's a crapton of errors coming from Naked Defeat. I may not have set something up right with that or its just not compatible with P+. I'll re-installing and going over the instructions again/try disabling it and running a fresh character to see what happens. 3. If Naked Defeat being disabled still doesn't help, I'll try this next. thank you guys for all your help thus far (and for the guide on how to find and read papyrus logs, cause I had no idea how to do that) PapyrusUtilDev.log
Vertigo123 Posted June 29 Author Posted June 29 Update: That did it! Naked Defeat was the problem. I re-installed and went over all the instructions/settings and there was a check box I missed. Characters no longer ping pong halfway across the screen. Thank you so much, you guys are amazing!
kashek Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Hi, can you please clarify what exactly helped? I bumped into the same issue and can't get over it (literally and figuratively speaking). I tried reinstalling Naked Defeat and Sexlab P+ and there were no checkboxes. Thanks in advance! And also, when you get it working, P+ is amazing IMO. Nothing more immersion-breaking than your character standing for 10 seconds before they start a simple scene, like it does in regular SL.

Papyrus Tweaks is your friend. Increase the ops budget further if you need more speed, but keep in mind that eventually it will eat into your FPS. I set mine to 10,000 but this is a case of do as I say not as I do - work your way up to it, instead of assuming and regretting later.
