Guest Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Whenever I attempt to ride a horse, my camera is locked. Not horizontally but vertically. When I used to use the Joy of Prospective mod (before this save) I also had a horse riding fix, but I uninstalled those files. The horse riding fix mod never had any special uninstall instructions either. Does anyone know what the problem might be/how to fix it? Thank you in advance.
gaggedgirl123 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I think you'll have to enable to fix anyhow. I had a similar problem with Immersive FP, where if I uninstalled it, even starting a new game, as soon as I started moving by camera would clip to the back of my character and I wouldn't be able to move it up or down until I stopped.
AmyScarlet Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Well if I understand correctly the camera is attached to the skeleton. So just reinstall the skeleton and it should fix itself.
judge0 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 If you mean the camera stays low to the ground, and doesn't raise up higher when you mount the horse: Try reinstalling your skeleton files (all locations)
Guest Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 No it stays up where it normally would, it's just that the camera can only rotate horizontally, and it can not rotate vertically.
judge0 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Sorry, some of the tweaks for Bashed patch, can save custom map and camera settings, making it appear like camera is locked. Check Camera settings in skyrim.ini (skrimprefs.in), maybe one of those has been altered. Other mods like Immersive First Person, Custom Camera etc.
Guest Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 [Camera] bDisableAutoVanityMode=1 fFirstPersonSittingAngleLimit=1.2 fFirstPersonSittingRotationSpeed=0.0390This is what shows up in my skyrimpref.ini, and I compared it with a friends version, and he doesn't even have a camera part for his. I don't recall adding this to my .ini at all. I'm no expert with these kind of things so forgive me for not knowing what these settings are.
