LetDown — A Lactation Gameplay Mod

LetDown adds a self-contained lactation system to The Sims 4: a Sim fills with milk over time, her body responds, and that milk becomes something you can express, sell, cook with, or drink.

 

How it works

• Get lactating. Order a Lactea Supplement from the mailbox (§15) and take it, or let it trigger automatically after giving birth. The Sim gains the Lactating trait and a fixed milk flavor.
• Fullness builds over time. As milk accumulates, moodlet buffs escalate through Filling Up → Swollen & Aching → Ready to Burst, and her breasts visibly swell with the fullness — easing back down once she's drained.
• Express the milk. Another Sim can Express Milk from a lactating Sim, producing a bottle in the inventory.
• Do something with it. Bottles come in five flavors (Strawberry, Vanilla, Banana, Chocolate, Natural). Sell them on the occult market (vampires pay a premium for chocolate, mermaids for strawberry…), cook them into a Milky Delight, or serve a glass straight from the fridge's Breast Milk menu and drink it for a flavor buff.

Companion mod — Hucow (early, in development)

There's an optional companion: Hucow (HL_Hucow), which requires LetDown. It's an early add-on that will keep growing over time. Right now it adds a custom "Lactation" need bar to the needs panel, so you can watch a Sim's fullness build at a glance. The full fantasy — an occult-style Sim that gradually transforms into a cow/hucow, with its own progression and traits — is planned for future updates and isn't in this build yet. Install LetDown first, then drop Hucow on top.

Requirements

• The Sims 4 (base game)
• WickedWhims — recommended. The body growth targets the nude body, and the mod hooks WW animations for draining.
• Hucow additionally requires LetDown installed.

Installation

1. Unzip.
2. Drop the HL_LetDown folder (with HL_LetDown.ts4script + HL_LetDown.package) into your Mods folder.
3. Make sure script mods are enabled in Game Options.
4. (Optional) Add the HL_Hucow folder the same way for the companion need bar.

Translations (community)

The mod ships in English. Translations work as drop-in language packs: download a HL_LetDown_Translation_<LANG>.package, place it next to the mod, and that language is used — remove it and it falls back to English.

Want to translate it to your language? Grab the translation template, open it in Sims 4 Studio (STBL / Translation tab), replace the English text with yours, and save. That file is the translation — share it for others to use.

 

Compatibility & notes

• Works alongside other lactation/body mods; the milk economy and buffs are self-contained.
• English only out of the box; other languages via the community packs above.

Will this be compatible with Kritical's DoS mod? There is the ability to turn a sub into a cow. It has a milking machine and animations. Just curious.

Excuse me, I have a question. After I installed this mod, the option to express milk does show up, but when I try to use it, the game says "not enough milk to express yet". Even when all my Sim's needs are fully filled, I still get that same message. Also, I can't order the related potion from the mailbox at all. Could you tell me how to fix this?

I had to delete this. My girls tits kept jumping from big to small over and over, her bf sucked and sucked and sucked on her tits and nothing, he couldn't express for her either.

Logic should tell you no. Men don't produce milk in their breasts. It's biologically impossible. It would be strange if it were possible in the mod, right?

He logrado por fin probar este mod después de algunos errores en mi juego, dónde prácticamente no cargaba la partida, a decir verdad es un buen mod hasta donde alcance a probar pero tiene un par de inconvenientes como el hecho de que se rompe por completo el cuerpo personalizado de un sim si es que usas algun mod que altere este mismo, el proceso para obtener el atributo no es complicado pero por ejemplo en mi caso con Sims que ya habían tenido algún hijo hice la prueba de fertilidad y se activo automáticamente el atributo y sus respectivos modlets y el indicador de lactancia, así que no sé si sea algún bug u otra manera de obtener el rasgo / atributo, comprendo que el mod apenas está en sus inicios pero si sería bueno que no se rompiera el apartado de los cuerpos personalizados, algo como lo que hace el chico del mod  de Mod Cum Inflation Hentai, dónde lo único que cambia es la barriga del sim. Pese a todo lo anterior me gustaría probar las siguientes versiones si este mod se actualiza en un futuro, incluso se podrían complementar con otros mods y animaciones para una mejor experiencia.

The breast enlargement feature with Devious Desires also had a habit of breaking custom body settings in the same way, must be some kind of similarity between this mod and whatever DD had in the code.

Downloaded this but it might be broken because one of my sims was pregnant when it was downloaded. She gave birth but got no lactation trait, so I bought the supplement and it gave me two for some reason. One could be taken, the other could not, and whenever I told her to take the supplement, she'd glitch out and the task would instantly leave without her taking it. I even gave her a lactation trait via MCCC cheats, but that didn't do anything.

Man, was really excited to see this, been looking for something like this for a long time but like the others here, it is causing me problems.

 

When I load into a game, this mod sets off Better Exceptions with 100% confidence which says that the mod's tuning is invalid, specifically pointing to "recipe_homelacter_milky_delight_single"

While rare, men absolutely CAN lactate, it absolutely DOES happen and it is known as galactorrhea.

Not only is this incorrect but also an absolutely unhinged thing to say about a mod for a game that has a massive amount of content for things that don't occur in real life. A mod that is set to eventually include being able to transform a human into a cow. 

 

Any ways, love the concept for this mod! I'm having trouble getting it to work, but I'm excited for when it does! 

 

Currently I've cheated the Lactating trait onto two Sims, one masculine-framed and one feminine-framed. They both show options to express milk but when it's selected it just says that there isn't enough milk yet. One of the Sims has purchased the lactea pills but isn't given an option to take them.

Comparing a very rare disease, which isn't even milk (it's just a liquid that resembles it), to breast milk, just to try and justify your argument, doesn't seem like the best idea. But if that makes you happy...

I want to add to this to say; yes, men CAN lactate in real life, it's just rare and/or the man is intersex when it occurs.

Currently, if you have WW animations with the "tits sucking" category, it should drain the breastfeeding Sim and give the taste-in-the-mouth buff to the other, but this functionality hasn't been tested enough and may not be effective. In short, there are future plans for all of this.

You shouldn't have any problems. If you tell me which mod it is, I can check if it's compatible without any issues. It's currently in the animations/machines development sheet.

Currently, the entire mod is designed at the code level with gender parity in mind. Women were prioritized due to time constraints. I currently work on many mods and try to develop them all simultaneously. Future versions will include features for milking both women and men, but this will take time because the game doesn't have natural ways to increase breast or testicle size, so there's an inevitable time-consuming process.

You need at least 25% breastfeeding to be able to pump a full bottle, but this sounds like a bug. Could you share more information?

he buscado exhaustivamente la manera, el juego parece no tener un metodo nativo para escalar en runtime ciertas partes del cuerpo mas de su limite, quizas si se trata del vientre el juego si cambia esto en tiempo real, pero para los pechos/testiculos no he tenido exito, de todas formas es uno de los frentes que estoy atacando con mayor intensidad para dar una solucion completa y que sea funcional con cualquier geometria
