About This File
LetDown adds a self-contained lactation system to The Sims 4: a Sim fills with milk over time, her body responds, and that milk becomes something you can express, sell, cook with, or drink.
How it works
- Get lactating. Order a Lactea Supplement from the mailbox (§15) and take it, or let it trigger automatically after giving birth. The Sim gains the Lactating trait and a fixed milk flavor.
- Fullness builds over time. As milk accumulates, moodlet buffs escalate through Filling Up → Swollen & Aching → Ready to Burst, and her breasts visibly swell with the fullness — easing back down once she's drained.
- Express the milk. Another Sim can Express Milk from a lactating Sim, producing a bottle in the inventory.
- Do something with it. Bottles come in five flavors (Strawberry, Vanilla, Banana, Chocolate, Natural). Sell them on the occult market (vampires pay a premium for chocolate, mermaids for strawberry…), cook them into a Milky Delight, or serve a glass straight from the fridge's Breast Milk menu and drink it for a flavor buff.

Companion mod — Hucow (early, in development)
There's an optional companion: Hucow (HL_Hucow), which requires LetDown. It's an early add-on that will keep growing over time. Right now it adds a custom "Lactation" need bar to the needs panel, so you can watch a Sim's fullness build at a glance. The full fantasy — an occult-style Sim that gradually transforms into a cow/hucow, with its own progression and traits — is planned for future updates and isn't in this build yet. Install LetDown first, then drop Hucow on top.
Requirements
- The Sims 4 (base game)
- WickedWhims — recommended. The body growth targets the nude body, and the mod hooks WW animations for draining.
- Hucow additionally requires LetDown installed.
Installation
- Unzip.

Drop the
HL_LetDownfolder (withHL_LetDown.ts4script+HL_LetDown.package) into yourModsfolder. - Make sure script mods are enabled in Game Options.

HL_Hucowfolder the same way for the companion need bar.
Translations (community)
The mod ships in English. Translations work as drop-in language packs: download a HL_LetDown_Translation_<LANG>.package, place it next to the mod, and that language is used — remove it and it falls back to English.
Want to translate it to your language? Grab the translation template, open it in Sims 4 Studio (STBL / Translation tab), replace the English text with yours, and save. That file is the translation — share it for others to use.

- Works alongside other lactation/body mods; the milk economy and buffs are self-contained.

Released
THE BIG ONE — SLIDER WIPE FIXED FOR GOOD
- Fixed: custom body/slider wipe. Root cause found and eliminated — a data corruption bug affected body modifiers every time the morph applied (since v0.2.1), wiping custom sliders and presets the first time a Sim lactated. Sliders are now preserved exactly, and the mod verifies this with a built-in integrity audit on every single application.
- Saves damaged by older versions are cleaned automatically (leftover garbage entries are purged). Lost slider values can't be recovered: re-adjust them once in CAS and they will stick from now on.
- Fixed: breast size oscillating / snapping back during growth (same root cause, plus a duplicated appearance update per change).
NEW
- Smooth breast animation: growth and deflation now animate smoothly in real time, and the animation speed follows the game speed (works at x1 and x3, freezes while paused). Full inflate ~5s, full deflate ~5s. Toggle in Settings > "Smooth breast animation".
- Stop Lactating: new pie menu option on any lactating Sim (LetDown menu).
- Milk fill speed setting: Slow / Normal / Fast / Very fast.
- Teen support (Settings > "Teen lactation", ON by default). Turning it OFF safely stops any teen who is currently lactating.
CHANGED / FIXED
- Start/Stop Lactating now apply to the Sim you CLICK, not the selected Sim. Start also hides on Sims who already lactate, and Stop only shows on Sims who do.
- Canceling a queued LetDown interaction no longer executes its effect.
- Stopping lactation now cleans up completely: no stuck moodlets, and the chest deflates reliably even across saves and travel.
DEBUG COMPANION (optional download, updated)
- Freeze detector: if the game locks up (for example stuck on "Saving..."), it automatically writes Mods\LetDown_data\letdown_stacks.txt — attach it together with letdown.log when reporting.
- New support cheats: letdown.audit_sliders (proves your custom sliders are untouched) and letdown.body_cleanup_all (cleans old residue on every Sim in the save).
KNOWN ISSUE (not caused by LetDown)
- "Stuck on Saving..." reports: we traced one cause to a standalone "[Kritical]MilkingMachine1f.package" circulating around — placing it on a lot freezes saving by itself, with or without LetDown installed. If you hit infinite saving, remove that package (use the full, current Dreams of Surrender release instead). If it still happens, grab the Debug Companion and send both log files.
CHEAT CONSOLE COMMANDS (with the Debug Companion installed)
- letdown.version — shows the installed mod version
- letdown.give_pill — activates lactation on the selected Sim
- letdown.set_supply <0-100> — sets the milk level
- letdown.toggle_enabled — starts/stops lactation on the selected Sim
- letdown.body_cleanup — cleans old residue on the selected Sim
- letdown.body_cleanup_all — cleans old residue on every Sim in the save
- letdown.audit_sliders — verifies your custom sliders are untouched
- letdown.list_body_keys — lists the Sim's body slider entries
- letdown.panic — disables the mod's loops until next load
