About This File
LetDown adds a self-contained lactation system to The Sims 4: a Sim fills with milk over time, her body responds, and that milk becomes something you can express, sell, cook with, or drink.
How it works
- Get lactating. Order a Lactea Supplement from the mailbox (§15) and take it, or let it trigger automatically after giving birth. The Sim gains the Lactating trait and a fixed milk flavor.
- Fullness builds over time. As milk accumulates, moodlet buffs escalate through Filling Up → Swollen & Aching → Ready to Burst, and her breasts visibly swell with the fullness — easing back down once she's drained.
- Express the milk. Another Sim can Express Milk from a lactating Sim, producing a bottle in the inventory.
- Do something with it. Bottles come in five flavors (Strawberry, Vanilla, Banana, Chocolate, Natural). Sell them on the occult market (vampires pay a premium for chocolate, mermaids for strawberry…), cook them into a Milky Delight, or serve a glass straight from the fridge's Breast Milk menu and drink it for a flavor buff.
Features
- Time-based fullness loop with escalating moodlets
- Dynamic breast growth that scales with fullness
- Milk bottles (5 flavors), sellable and cookable
- Fridge "Breast Milk" serve-a-glass submenu
- Occult buyer market with flavor preferences
- Post-partum auto-activation
- WickedWhims integration (draining during tagged animations)
Companion mod — Hucow (early, in development)
There's an optional companion: Hucow (HL_Hucow), which requires LetDown. It's an early add-on that will keep growing over time. Right now it adds a custom "Lactation" need bar to the needs panel, so you can watch a Sim's fullness build at a glance. The full fantasy — an occult-style Sim that gradually transforms into a cow/hucow, with its own progression and traits — is planned for future updates and isn't in this build yet. Install LetDown first, then drop Hucow on top.
Requirements
- The Sims 4 (base game)
- WickedWhims — recommended. The body growth targets the nude body, and the mod hooks WW animations for draining.
- Hucow additionally requires LetDown installed.
Installation
- Unzip.
-
Drop the
HL_LetDownfolder (withHL_LetDown.ts4script+HL_LetDown.package) into yourModsfolder. - Make sure script mods are enabled in Game Options.
-
(Optional) Add the
HL_Hucowfolder the same way for the companion need bar.
Translations (community)
The mod ships in English. Translations work as drop-in language packs: download a HL_LetDown_Translation_<LANG>.package, place it next to the mod, and that language is used — remove it and it falls back to English.
Want to translate it to your language? Grab the translation template, open it in Sims 4 Studio (STBL / Translation tab), replace the English text with yours, and save. That file is the translation — share it for others to use.

Compatibility & notes
- Works alongside other lactation/body mods; the milk economy and buffs are self-contained.
- English only out of the box; other languages via the community packs above.

What's New in Version 0.2.1
Released
Fixed the "Invalid Tuning" exception on load (recipe_homelacter_milky_delight_single). The Milky Delight recipe referenced a Cottage Living object — it now uses a base-game dish, so players without that pack no longer get the error. (The cooked dish is now a parfait-style bowl.)
Fixed custom body/breast sliders being reset to 0 by the mod. If a Sim was already affected, adjust her once in CAS — it will stick from now on.
Fixed the body visually resetting when a Sim is fully drained.
Fixed the fullness loop silently stopping after traveling or switching saves (bar stuck / moodlets never appearing until game restart).
Express Milk can now be performed by another Sim on a lactating Sim: her milk is drained and the bottles (in her fixed flavor) go to whoever does the milking. Adults only.
Fixed the Lactating trait being granted by the pregnancy test. It now triggers only on actual birth; births missed while the mod wasn't loaded are recovered on the next load.
Milk level no longer resets on game relaunch when the Hucow add-on isn't installed.
Hucow bar: fixed the game occasionally overwriting the Lactation level of off-lot Sims.
Compatibility hardening: LetDown no longer masks other mods' exceptions, and no longer injects its interactions into children.
Fixed settings/flavors not persisting for users with OneDrive-redirected Documents.
If you use the Hucow add-on, update both downloads (HL_LetDown and HL_Hucow).
