Worried that my playthrough is fucked

None of my saves are loading. After the initial loading screen, I get an infinite black screen with the music playing, and it's happened to all of my saves on this playthrough. Resaver isn't showing anything wrong with any of them, and I didn't add/remove/change/update anything prior to this happening, the game was perfectly stable. Well, as stable as modded Skyrim can get, anyway. I can start a new game, and a new game will start just fine, but even if I try loading my save from within that new file (either in-game proper, or in the ASLAL jail cell), I get the infinite black screen again. All of the recommended Engine Fixes settings to prevent save corruption are already enabled, but again, neither the game nor Resaver are telling me the save is corrupted.

I'm hoping someone here has some advice beyond the stuff I've found online from ten years ago, because it's a lot of progress to have to lose. Enough that I wouldn't even want to start again from the beginning.

As with all freezes, the only approach that makes sense is to remove mods until the problem goes away. The only reason I could see to pursue other options would be for learning purposes.

Since you said that you've made a lot of progress on this playthrough, I can imagine that your save file is incredibly huge. Are you sure that it's an infinite loading screen or does it just take a really long time to load? Anyway, can you enable SKSE log and see if there's anything wrong going on under the hood?

I'm in the process of binary searching which mod might be causing problems. The problem is I have to essentially do two searches, the first is "what can I disable without the game crashing" before I can determine what's causing problems. As far as file sizes, nothing immediately stands out. My saves are all under 10MB, and my Papyrus logs don't crack 1MB. I'll see if SKSE logging is enabled.

Just based on that, 98% certainty your saves were borderline bricked anyways.
