Oldwolf58 Posted June 11 Posted June 11 The new AAF 1.7.0 crashes midway through any animation. I disabled all but 4 of the most used animation packs , Savage Cabbage, mutated lust, atomic lust and Crazy's animations for FO4 but I still get the crash midway through. Any ideas?
Oldwolf58 Posted June 12 Author Posted June 12 (edited) @Alstier Ok found a couple of things that cleared it up for me. 1) Spicy altered animations is a no no. 2) might be a conflict with stripped surrenders. I removed the spicy altered mods and set aaf to NOT handle equipment in the AAF INI and that cleared the problem up. Other than leto's, savage cabbage, Vadermania, mutated lust and atomic lust be careful of what animation mods you have. Try deactivating any other animation mods you have except those 5 and see if your problem goes away. If it does then you can re-add the other animation packs one by one until you find the culprit. If it makes it to the end of the animation but crashes when you are just standing there then you have a problem with the redressing function which is likely caused by a conflict with a surrender or stripping mod. Hope this helps you. Edited June 12 by Oldwolf58 added info
hy303 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Oldwolf58, could you please tell me specifically how you dealt with this problem? In a Fallout 4 version 1.11.221, AAF 1.7.1 environment, I'm experiencing a CTD (crash to desktop) during animation playback. What does it mean to configure AAF INI so that AAF doesn't process the device? Please explain in detail.
MajorWard Posted July 25 Posted July 25 I've recently re-installed FO4 and AAF and am getting CTD's with certain animations. It doesn't matter if triggered through AAF Sex 'em Up or via the AAF menu, kissing animations (except Atomic Kissing) from the Atomic Lust would CTD my game whenever they were about to start. At first I thought it was just the kissing animations and after a while I gave up troubleshooting and decided to just not bother with kissing. However I've just had a CTD when trying to start a sex-scene through SEU, sadly I didn't know which one it was as I didn't have the AAF menu open. It's also removing Leito FF animations but apparently this is down to a UAP error that AAF can't ignore? I'm running version 1.11.221 UOF4P installed Latest AAF installed and I am sure I have all the requirements for each mod met. I'm certainly not getting any error messages pop up on screen, just the ones that alert to missing plugins and the aforementioned removal of the FF animations.

If you don't have AAF 1.7.2.2 you don't have the latest . . . It removes most, if not all of the earlier bugs in 1.7.x releases

Individual animations themselves shouldn't cause any crashes. Problems are only possible in rare cases when there is a call to missing third-party resources inside the animation. But this is definitely not about AtomicLust. And of course, you must have the ZeX skeleton installed and working properly. AtomicLust animations use ZeX bones.

I have installed your EAP and disabled UAP, which seems to have sorted the issue out - kissing now works no problem!
