JamesINGSOC Posted June 7 Posted June 7 As the title above. The last time I play skyrim with a modlist from forums which including slavetats and the tats could overlay on the skins of the armors with skins then. Then I uninstalled my game months ago and when I reinstall skyrim this time, I downloaded slavetats from loverslab by myself and the overlays suddenly didn't show on bare skins of armors this time, Is this a version problem or something else?
JamesINGSOC Posted June 7 Author Posted June 7 They even show on my hands (the left hand was a dwemer prosthetic hand so I suppose it was not because I'd edited the body meshes)
traison Posted June 7 Posted June 7 (edited) This issue specifically I don't recall seeing before, but RaceMenu in general has issues with overlays and overrides especially in 1.6.* versions of the game. My advice to you would be to simplify your testing: Remove Obody and Mu Dynamic NormalMap. Remove other mods that contain a dll and claim to change something about meshes like textures, shine/gloss, transparency, height/dimensions and so on. Check the name of the body texture used for the skin portions of the armor. Some mods check that the texture contains "body" before doing their thing. You should also check if the overlay texture is present and just not visible: Go get More Informative Console. Find a character that has an overlay. Open the console and select that character OR prid 14 to select yourself. Use MIC to inspect the texture list and find your overlay. Make the character wear the problematic armor. Use MIC again to see if the texture is still there. Edit: Maybe should clarify why when the OP is talking about SlaveTats am I yappin' on about RaceMenu. RM is the one that handles overlays, SlaveTats is a json loader. If there's an issue with overlays it's RM's domain. Edited June 7 by traison 1
JamesINGSOC Posted June 8 Author Posted June 8 19 hours ago, traison said: Now I know that is the meshes problem. I used the other meshes and the tats showed this time. Obviously the body meshes I used earlier were broken.
