Juffo78 Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Hi all, after a long break from Skyrim (and a change to MO2), I had to remod the game from scratch. The SLAL animations (e.g. Billy) give me trouble. If I try to add them like other animation packs, FNIS shows an error, as there are too many animations. I guess this is where the SLAL animation loader comes into play. Can someone give me an instruction how to implement these animations in Skyrim?

Grey Cloud Posted May 30 Posted May 30 At least two possibilities here. 1. To check if it is Billyy's pack causing the problem try installing only Billyy's pack. 2. What you are interpreting as errors? If you mean this then ignore it: Note: Since version 7.5 FNIS calculates how many percent of Skyrim's custom animation resources you have used up, and will warn you when you have reached at least 99% of the load which causes CTD. In addition, FNIS XXL will show how much each of your animation mods contributes to Load CTD. However, since this FNIS functionality was implemented, there are several SKSE plugins available which circumvent this Skyrim bug. Which means that the problem can be easily avoided by users of many acustom animations. But since new users will not know about the fix, FNIS will still warn when the original limit is passed. The SKSE plugins that increase the Skyrim animation limit are: -Animation Limit Crash Fix SSE (Skyrim SE) -SSE Engine Fixes (Skyrim SE) -Animation Limit Crash Fix LE (Skyrim LE)

If you are on any version of Skyrim Special Edition, you should consider moving on from FNIS to using Pandora, Pandora, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/133232 This works with everything right now and you wont run into animation limits, Im well into 40,000 animations by now. By works with everything I really mean that it works with all the stuff that has required other animation frame works such as Nemesis. You can use all the Loverslabs animations alongside Nemesis animations without the issues that we would run into just 3 years ago. All of it works under Pandora and the best part is it only takes about 1.96 seconds to process a new set of animations when you change up your animations order, seen it take as little as 1.25 seconds that is a far cry difference from FNIS and Nemesis load orders I used to run taking several minutes to process each an then taking some end-user fiddly magic to make the two actually behave together. 2
