Fraying9981 Posted May 29 Posted May 29 Hi all, Bodyslide newbie here. CBBE 3BA user with obody. I just want to know what each slider does = a simple definition. Is there a documentation somewhere for that? really something simple, a doucment that given this for example: "ShoulderTweak" size="big" value="100" tells me: oh thats the part you know in between this muscle/bone/joint whatever the min is X, the max is Y for each slider I've tried AI but obviously it wasn't trained on it so the inferences are completely wild. thanks in advance!
traison Posted May 29 Posted May 29 I can tell you will have an absolutely horrible time modding Skyrim. Anyhow, the slider min/max values are always whatever is set in Config.xml. Listing those per-slider makes no sense.

Common sense solution 2: Move a slider and see what changes in the preview panel. What is there in this that is not providing the info you require? Edited May 29 by Grey Cloud 1

I guess this is why AI is likely to give orders to humans in the near future instead of the other way round 29 minutes ago, Grey Cloud said: Common sense solution 2: Move a slider and see what changes in the preview panel. i also agree with the reasoning. similar to #1 though: bodyslide was coded. so was cbbe/3ba the programmers wrote a file with specs somewhere. a bit like girls on tinder: "I want a 666" then the file determined the slider values so micro custom arrangements could be done. for example, "i want a 666 with a Porsche, not a ferrari." -> this is very useful not for all girls, but for girls who prefer porsche to ferrari. so bodyslide UI was made. this is the file im looking for. what do girls decide on bodyslide? 666, or something else? what do they measure? essentially the documentation of the programmer. i didn't find any info on the bodyslide github after exploring it with agents. it's a bit as if you said "go on a date with n girls to figure out they want 666" though its written everywhere and covers 80% of cases but i appreciate the suggestions and conversation! Grey Cloud Posted May 29 Posted May 29 So basically you have dug yourself into a hole by downloading 1K-plus presets and now want someone to come up with a way to save you the effort of putting things right. Common sense solution 3: Delete all the presets and start again with a more manageable number.

Thank your for your honesty. yes that's a valid approach but not a good diagnosis: i'm not asking for someone to solve my problem of 1000 presets, i'm providing context as to why i'm asking for some form of documentation about cbbe/3ba slider values which I expected would exist somewhere on the internet. it's ok, i had been doing some statistics based coding to reduce outliers a couple months ago from 1000 to 500, and now from 500 to 150. i did it a bit blindly because idk the meaning of the sliderset values, but the result is decent. that's why i thought maybe some documentation could help me to have a more solid approach/design philosophy. traison Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Since you know how to write code, what I would do in your situation is something like this: Write a python script to go through the XML presets, giving a score to each slider value that is considered to make tits larger: BreastFlatness2 BreastFlatness BreastPerkiness Breasts BreastsFantasy BreastsGone BreastsNewSH BreastsSmall BreastsSmall2 DoubleMelon Note that BreastsSmall, BreastsSmall2, BreastsGone, BreastsPerkiness, BreastFlatness and BreastFlatness2 get higher score when they're in the negatives. Set a cut-off score, and delete presets that do not qualify. You may also want to weigh the sliders such that BreastsNewSH being high gives a higher score than DoubleMelon does.

If you're not exactly sure what a slider does, load up any preset on preview and you can have a live view of what the sliders do on a 3D model. If you still can't tell what a slider is doing you can manually type in a value like 1000% and hit enter and you'll see what part of the body it is altering.

Perhaps the info doesn't exist because nobody else requires it. To be honest I do not have a clue as to what you are trying to achieve. There were a 1,000 presets now it's 150; you're not trying to mod but you are writing code. How much time have you put into this so far? I have c. 95 presets (some of them male) most, if not all, have been tweaked by me. Whenever I download a preset I look at it in BS and make any changes I fancy then make the preset available to OBody NG to use. Five minutes after I edit the preset Unless you are running around Skyrim with a magnifying glass examining naked bodies then you are not going to notice subtle changes in body part sizes.
