Siemann Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Like the title says. Romantic satisfaction doesn't start between specific households. I've stripped all mods and it looks like a vanilla problem. Romantic relations are max and all styles are flagged positive; intra-household and NPC romance still work fine. WW debug shows the stats do change on interaction, yet the status doesn't update. I thought it may have to do with them both being active households; haven't tested all scenarios but even merging the families doesn't solve the issue. I'm surprised I haven't found this mentioned in Sims bugs at large. Hoping it's not corruption.
Zasz Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I just had something like that. Romance between two sims was at maximum but neither allowed any romantic interaction. So I broke the two up and checked the romance settings in CAS. I set them to not interested in romance after both already were in a romantic relationship to prevent them from accidently starting new ones. Then I could renew their romantic relationship and the satisfaction returned. 1
Siemann Posted May 20 Author Posted May 20 Thank you for the tip! I bumped Romantic relations down in MCCC to "Sweethearts" and Satisfaction instantly activated. (It seems to need Romantic relations ~50% or lower, "Lovers" and up didn't switch it on.) It doesn't explain why it can still work for legacy lovers, but at least there's an easy fix. EA fix your damn game(TM).
