World I Was Placing New Sims Into Is Gone

I was creating new Sims and placing them into Sulani. I had about 4 or 5 new Sims all in Sulani. I could select any Households and play those Sims. Save games have the Sims I was creating in the thumbnails, but when I go into those saves, the houses have all NPCs, where before, those Sims I created were in the houses. Before, I would load the save, and all my Sims would be in the Households in Sulani. The saves have other worlds as the starting point as if I had just started them, rather than at the progress levels they were in my last save.
