Need advice on 2 things (weapon replacement mod and an NPC replacer/revamp)

Hello,

 

I'd like to know if you can recommend me any weapon replacement pack. The idea is i don't really want new weapons that i'd need to craft or find in some boxes somewhere, just model/texture replacements for the vanilla ones.

 

Anything goes really, even non-lore friendly, altho i would prefer them that way (lore-friendly).

 

Also i'd appreciate it if you could recommend me a mod that replaces / beautifies (is that even a word?) the female NPCs ingame. Using SG hair pack + Coverwomen + UNP.. think that's it not sure though might have missed something that changes the way models look.

 

Basically would be nice if it makes their faces look more appealing and maybe replaces their hair as well (faces aren't so bad tho). It's pretty horrible when my character stands next to them and looks totally out of place. I've tried Apachii hair + NPC overhaul but don't like the hairstyles and they don't really match. If there's a SG NPC replacer it would be great, haven't managed to find one tho.

 

PS: also if you have any idea how i could fix my neck seam it would be great also.

Well for weapons, I don't know of any replacers except Better Shaped Weapons, but if you want to increase the natural variety in-game, I'd recommend Jaysus Swords. It puts most of its new content in leveled lists, while some are craftable only, others are findable only. Combine it with Chronicles of Steel in Skyrim, and you have an ENORMOUS variety of weapons. Just make sure to use a bashed patch to get them both to load.

 

As for the NPCs, I can't recommend anything so I'll let others do it

Ok i fixed the NPCs, still need hair though.

Fixed the neck seam (had to install UNP then UNP BB then mature texture - first time i only had UNP BB and mature so something was missing i guess? )

 

And i'll check out the weapon packs as well.

You might also try Immersive Armors and Immersive Weapons, you can use them with Jaysus Swords and really improve your armor/weapons selections.

I use the first one every game now. It only requires Apachii hairs and it only makes over the females so it's a much smaller mod than Inhabitants is. I think the NPCs are better looking with the first one as well.

quite frankly, its pretty easy to exchange any weapon in game with modded stuff. its just some ck work, and allows you to customize your game just as you want. its actually one of the reasons i never made replacers out of my stuff, some folks want this weapon, others that, i went like "you know what? make the replacers yourself from my weapons. its work of maybe 5 minutes per weapon and nothing compared to the hours i had to work on them in the first place".

 

would that be an option for you? all youd have to do would be changing two entries in the ck per weapon, one found under static, and the second one under weapons. just relink the meshes, and your orcish greatsword looks like some of my stuff for example. only thing it would cost you would be some time, and one single slot for mods (from the 255 you have).
